Kat flopped down on her bed, the indent of where Brett had stayed was still there. She crawled over to it and cryed. This was why Kat picked 'one nighters'. Guys who she had no feelings for. It hurt to much to have them around.

Alfred returned from the store, and saw Arthur on the couch.
"Dude did you even move?" He asked teasingly.

Kat closed her eyes, she wanted Alfred. She wanted to curl up in his arms and cry herself to sleep.

"Just do it!" And with that, Alfred trotted upstairs.

Kat saw Alfred came in, and she continued to cry.
"Brett was cheating on me." She said blankly, the tears still streaming down her face.

At those words Alfred instinctively came over to Kat and lay down, pulling her int ohis arms.
"Im sorry Kat..Arthur told me he would do that.."
