Ellis snapped open the glove compartment in a flash and began to rummage through papers. "Theres a registration here, but it says 'John Coffyn' on it. Plus we don't have a license."
Tara began to chew on her fingernail. "Are we gonna go to jail?" she asked shakily.

Ellis smirked to himself in response to Dymitri's flirting with the cop, and he let out a little fake cough.
Tara leaned back, hoping the cop didn't see her. If he did, she knew theywould probably pass it off as a little sister, just there for the ride.

Ellis lifted his sunglasses when Dymitri kissed the cop, and when they broke apart Ellis said quietly with a smirk, "Dee, you dog."
Tara instinctively grabbed Chase's hand when it happened, as she was a bit stunned herself.

Tara just held Chase's hand. "I'm not leaving him." she said simply.
Carmen slowly opened the door and got out, joining Ellis on the outside of the car as they waited for Tara.

Tara debated for a moment, but then let go of Chase's hand and got out of the car, slowly going over to Carmen and Ellis. She glanced back at the two in the backseat one last time before entering the coffee shop first.
