Even though Charlie was free, he didn`t walk, he`d only lift himself up with his front legs. "Well what is wrong with you dog?" Asked the docter as he lifted Charlie up and put him on another examination table. "Looks like them boxes have done some damage to your back legs." Muttered the docter, but Charlie heard him, soon, Charlie`s owner was called to the hospital, Charlie listened in on the conversation outside the door.
"I know this may be a shock, but Charlie has some damage to his back legs."
"What!? Can`t you do something for him?"
"I can put bandages around his legs to make them stable, but you`ll need to take him for short walks each day."
"But, but Charlie is going to be my lead dog, and the race is just a few days away, we`ve been practacing with my old sled."
"I`m sorry, but Charlie might not be able to pull a sled, ever again."
"N-no, no, that isn`t true, he`s lying, he`s lying, he`s lying!" Shouted Charlie.

Benjamin shook his head in shock. "No. He's right. It's too late for the race Charlie. At least you're safe now." He tried to comfort him.

Poison jumped up, the sound coming back "What!" She gasped "I'm so sorry!" She whimpered, she looked at the wall still, in one of the designs it said 'HELP' and 'Ben.' She sighed, looking at the two words.

Charlie shook his head in disagreement. "I`m going to race." He growled so low that Ben could barely hear him.

Benjamin woke up, his eyes a bit blurry at first. "Poison?" he asked. He saw her standing above him waiting to see if he was alive. His eyes cleared. "You know, if my eyes were still blurry, I would have thought you were an angel." He smiled crookedly, the way he always did with her. Hope you did. This is the third post of this. X3

Benjamin looked at Charlie. His eyes said everything. Would you be upset...if I kissed her?

ooc: Uh oh, Charlie`s gonna race O.O
"I`m gonna race and they can`t stop me, I`ve got a reputation, I have a life, and I wanna live it, racing is in my blood." Said Charlie. Then he saw the look in Ben`s eyes, he shook his head slightly.

OOC: Yeah...if he gets past his master's word on it.
Benjamin shuffled a bit closer to Poison. His eyes locked with her eyes. He then kissed her gently and nuzzled her. "I...love...you. No matter what." he whispered into her ear.

"Charlie's...being Charlie right now. Headstrong." he said. He nuzzled Poison. "Mmm...you always keep me warm." he said smiling.

ooc: Yes, we all did Tadie.
Once the doc came in and put the bandages around Charlie`s back legs, he could walk, but the floor seemed very slippery and he slid right into the door. "Poison, I`m gonna race, if I can stop myself from slipping."
Charlie`s owner sighed. "Just rest, you goof. I`ll come by to pick you up on the day of the race, so you can watch it..But not run in it I`m afraid."
ooc: *Reads Charlie`s mind* uh oh, you know what he`s thinkin? He`s gonna jump in there when the race starts, and he`s gonna race o.o
