Cachen whined. "That man was evil, wasn't he?"
Balto nodded, tears in his eyes to. "I know humans hunt and keep the furs of what they eat to sell for money or to make stuff to wear, but something tells me Mako didn't eat an ounce from anything he killed." he said. "He just did this for the sadistic pleasure of it.
Suddenly, Titan ran in and grabbed Kai by the scruff, running out the room, an angry Balto in hot persuit. He threw Kai into a sandy area and vanished.
Balto ran down and checked on Kai. "Are you alright?" he asked, not realizing they were in a rather large area with high fences on all sides, mainly due to the lights being off, but the entire place smelled of blood.
OOC: I have two possibilities, one, they fight Titan here, two, Mako returned (having delt with his business) and they fight him, ending in him being arrested (but he'll escape sometime). Which would be better?

Kai nodded, a few tears falling down his face before he was so crudely picked up by the scruff. He yelped in surprise, eyes wide and...admittedly he was a bit frightened. Thrown into the sand covered area, Kai got up shakily, looking at Balto."This place... it reeks of blood and fear, Granddad." he said, terrified within. He lookedc at Balto, and looked around. "Coward!" he screamed, anger in his voice as he pushed his fear aside. "Where are you, murderer?!?!" his teeth grinded as he growled, his eyes wavering slightly, even in the darkness.
OOC: Why not have the ring full of spectators, and Titan fighting both of them?
Katie nodded, eyes still sad. "Yes, baby, he is..."

OOC: Ok, but Mako returned to set it up with Titan offscreen.
Mako walked out onto a platform above them. "Hello, do you know who I am?" he asked, out of reach of them, but the lights still obscuring everything around him.
Lena's eyes suddenly lit up, having a vision.

Kai smirked, standing tall and straight as he glared up at Mako. "Yes. You're the scum who tortured my Mother, and killed both my grandmother and great-grandmother!" he growled, eyes lit up with a passionate fire.
Bashkei tore himself form his looking at Lena. "What's wrong, Lena?" he asked, concerned. He had seen his brother's eyes go gold before, and was not so much scared for her as what she saw.

"Flattery will get you nowhere." said the psychaotic Mako. "Now, you're going to put on a little show for me, and I so hope you die." he said. He snapped his fingers. Lights came on, revealing Balto and Kai were in a dogfighting ring, crooks of all types watching from the stands. "Ladies and gentlemen, here we have Balto, hero of Nome! And his grandson! A little wolfdog who from what I've heard has a lot of fire in him!" he said. "Their opponent, our champion! Titan!"
Titan was released into the pit with them, snarling furiously as the crowd cheered, making bets.
Lena saw Balto and Kai in the ring, Mako over them and them fighting Titan. "Mako's back! He has them fighting that other dog of his in a big fenced in pit!"
"A dog fighting ring!" said Fang.

It was as if Katie was choking, horror in her eyes. "M-my..." she began to shake, before starting to run back to Mako's. Kodi saw this, and stopped her, holding her back.
"You can't! you're too weak!" he said with concern.
"They'll die!" Katie cried, burying her face into Kodi's chest, sobbing. "They'll die!! Let me go!" she pleaded.
Bashkei's eyes widened, looking up to the sky. "I owe it to you to help your son, Aniu." he looked to Fang, eyes as hard as ice. "You know what we have to do, now, Fang." he said, looking at Katie with a growl in his throat. "He's tortured and terrified my daughter, and now means to kill my one of my grandsons, and my friend's son. I owe it to Aniu to make sure he doesn't join her for a very long time."
"Too late!" Tai called, her eyes afire. "That's my brother, and power or not, I will put that dog six feet under, I swear it on my life!" she growled, beginning to run as slowly as she could. "And if I can, I'll kill that psycho Mako too!!"
Kai's eyes widened, scanning the crowd. He looked nervous, almost white in the face. He didn't particularly like being around a vast number of people. He backed up next to Balto, crouching low. "What do we do, Granddad?" he asked in low whisper.

"Wait, if Mako's there, we may be able to get him taken care of and save dad and Kai at the same time. "Me and Dusty can go get the police and lead them to his house, the others can go help them. When the police get there, they'll arrest Mako and any of his cronies, that way we won't get in trouble for the only other way to get him out of the way." she said. "And don't worry, the police here know Kodi and our dad, so they'll know we're the victims here."
"Only thing we can do." said Balto. "Defend ourselves."

Bashkei nodded. "Then I need you two to go then, if it stops this madness." he said, ears raised and body tense. Anything to stop her tears...
K ai nodded with a gulp, coruching low, with ears back. He prepared himself for anything.

Tiga nodded, her and Dusty ran towards town.
"Momma, can I stay here so I can keep you safe if the mean man comes back for you?" asked Cachen, worried for everyone, but his mother most.
"I'll go rescue Kai." said Lena.

Katie smiled, her face soaked in tears. She slowly leaned over and licked Cachen's cheek. "Yes, baby."
Goldie nodded, sitting by Cachen. "I'll stay too" she stated, her tail wagging lightly.
Kodi nodded, keeping Katie close to him as she began to calm down, and he gritted his teeth. She was so emotionally scarred by this man... it made him angry. Very angry.
Bashkei grinned, rubbing Lena's head before taking off. "Then come with me, girl!"

Titan laughed. "This is my element, I was bred for this mutts." he said. "Me and my brother, who you will pay for what you did to by the way."
"Brother?" asked Balto, unsure of what he meant, then realizing it. "You mean that giant dog was your brother?"
"Don't worry momma, we're the good guys, we'll win in the end." said Cachen, smiling.
Lena took off with her grandfather. "Grandpa...I thought we beat Mako's dog already, didn't we?"

"That doesn't matter!" Kai shouted, eyes ablaze. "Anyone can fight, if they have enough emotion behind their actions... You hurt my Mother, and your master is responsible for my grandmother and great-grandmother's deaths!" he growled low, ears pinned back. "And I'll make you pay for it! Now come at me!"
Katie smiled, nuzzling Cachen lightly as he spoke to her.
Bashkei nodded, running after the rest of the group. "There's always more than one fighting dog at disposal, especially for the owner of a ring."

Titan snarled and charged the young pup, only for Balto to tackle him.
Cachen nodded. "Momma...how could someone be as evil as Mako is?"
"Well I don't think this dog is as bad as his other one." said Lena.
Dusty and Tiga ran to the police station and scratched at the door barking urgently.
OOC: Mind being the police officer?

Kai's eyes widened as he was undermined again. He growled and as soon as Balto tackled Titan, the young hybrid would leap up, his young teeth colliding with the dark fur of the fighting dog, and holding on impressively.
Katie shook her head, eyes sad. "I don't know, but I feel bad for him."
Bashkei shook his head. "You never know, girl."
The police officer came out, opening the door slowly. "Huh? Wha?" he stuttered, looking at the two urgently barking dogs. "Is there something wrong?' he asked quietly, leaning down.

Titan kicked Balto off and snapped ferally to try to reach Kai.
Cachen nodded. "It's bad for someone to only be able to feel evil and anger."
"We'll still stop him, we know that." said Lena.
Dusty tried to remember, her musher had taught the dogs a number of danger warning signals so if there were danger, they could alert him or others in time, police were supposed to know them too, in case a dog needed to get help for their master. She remembered one meaning 'dangerous person', which they were supposed to use if they needed to tell about an intruder in camp. She did a series of obviously trained barks as the signal, but even if the man didn't know the meaning, he'd at least know it meant something.
