OOC: About Jules:

Jules is a very popular author and therefore very rich; he and his brother James is a billionaire businessman and owns a successful phone and internet service. Both have veterinary training and are in joint ownership of the flat and charity surgery Tiaki is going to. They are the founders, owners and utilizes of the Yellow Collar Scheme (YCS) which allows stray dogs in NYC to be named as good, trustworthy animals. They use a temperament test and vaccinations so that the dogs can live freely on the NYC streets.
They also own a fenced park behind their surgery used for exercising sick animals, and YCS temperament testing. The have a farm in the country and a menagerie of rescued animals. Molly and Martin stay in NYC with Jules when he is there while James stays on the farm; he dose most of his business from the farm. At other times James stays in NYC with his dogs and Jules lives on the farm and writes his books. Each man spends abut half the year at each place broken up into variable periods.
Both men have a deep understanding of animals and their behaviours.

TIAKI AND CO

Tiaki ran along the roads thinking how to attract Jules’s attention and get him to understand, by the time he got there he had a plan and backup plan. A light was on and a window open in the large two storey flat above the surgery; that may help he thought and barked softly. Almost instantly he heard two barks in reply and saw Molly and her mate Martin, Jules’s Boxers look out of the window. “Molly, Martin I need help a dog is badly injured in the lab near Woodland Park, some other dogs are going to get her to the south entrance” he said. “Can you get Jules down here?” Molly and Martin nodded “I think we I can make him understand and come; he’s awake I’ll pretend I need the toilet and get him down to the park” Martin replied. And they disappeared reappearing a minute later in the park behind the surgery with Jules. “Hi Tiaki I hope you can convince him, they said. Tiaki barked and slipped the sign off, picked it up pushed it at Jules; “what have you got there dog? Oh you are the last YCS dog, I collared with your friend” the vet said. “Woodland Park entrance SOS” he read. Tiaki barked again and ran off then back to Jules; “you want me to follow me right? He said Tiaki barked in a different tone and sat down in front of Jules wagging his tail. “Ok off to my ambulance; come Molly, Martin; the three dogs followed Jules he opened the passenger door for the three dogs they jumped into the passenger seat then Jules got into his ambulance and drove off.

THE LAB ARIA

Some of the Pups then dogs ate the berries.

“I think they are wild Strawberries” Prima said when she had a look and taste.

“No problem Halfblack, you guys care for him and I will sort out other matters in the meantime” Nuka said. “Hi there K?hui I think you know I’m Nuka and the alpha where did you come from?

“Yes Nuka, both of us are in the YCS like you, I’ll tell you our story later as it is a long one, is there anything I can do to help?

Just then Toa returned and explained about the sign, “I think it will work she said”

“Yes Toa I really think it will, Jules will probably understand, thanks Toa; and our friend K?hui her had offered to help too!”
He turned back to her, “Actually there is something you cold do K?hui; I think you are just about the right size to help another pull that green flatbed cart over there to the south gate for Jules to pick up.” He looked right at K?hui; “but one thing; It was a Doberman who hurt Riley; her brother Rocket is the other one who I think will pull the cart with you but if you can tell them Tiaki is harmless K?hui, I think it would be fine. He turned to Skull and Papi
“Skull, Papi please could you break down that gate, we need to pull the cart through it, then please come and help us get Riley onto the Cart?” then he turned to the pup guardians.
“And pup Guardians please cold you take the pups into that wooden roofless shed, Macy I’m sure you cold think of a great way to and keep them entertained. Just until we get Riley through the gate She dosn’t want the pups to see her in the state she’s in.”

“Yes I can do that Nuka” K?hui replied, “and I can probably pull it myself when it’s empty; also I can explain about Tiaki.” She took one side of the cross bar in her mouth and easily pulled it along, following Nuka round the boxes to Riley and her helpers.

“Hi everyone this is our newest member, K?hui if its OK with you Rocket, you and K?hui can pull that cart to the south entrance, we have arrangements for a vet to meet you there it should work. K?hui just need to explains something, I will prepare the cart.”

“Rocket, Riley don’t worry about this-my half-brother is a Doberman cross; but he won’t hurt you Riley, he is a sweet kind gentle, caring protective, Doberman; and won’t hurt you that’s what his name means-Tiaki. He has gone to get the vet, Toa has given him as sign that says Woodland park South entrance and scratched SOS on it. The vet Jules will almost certainly understand, and come in his animal ambulance.”

Skull ran towards the gate and threw his strong body onto the gate the rusty hinges and lock broke and it fell outwards, Skull on top. The big dog got to his feet and pulled it out of the way.

Papi had told Cale and Loki to follow the pup guardians as they went into the roofless shed they had obediently done so. “Well done Skull, now let’s go and help get Riley onto that cart”

Nuka meanwhile had found a duvet and got it onto the cart to make it more comfortable, “If we have your permission Rocket and Riley we can now gently move you onto a big sheet then Skull, Papi, Tanga and I and can lift you onto the cart.”

FLSSHBACK (THE LAB ARIA):

“OK Halfblack, It’s probably best if he goes to the vet too, but how to get him there? Let me deal with Riley first then I’ll see what I can do!

“Cale, Loki please would you got to the shed with your guardians; good pups” Papi said.

“If only there was another cart or something” Cale said.

“Come on pups” Millie said; they followed the Dalmatian, Prima, and Star into the roofless shed.

“Hey look at this Loki!” Cale said “Anther cart!”

“Good find Cale” Loki said “It even has a rope to pull it along with!”

“Freda likes Demon and she’s not wary of humans, perhaps she could take him to the south entrance on it!” Zeke said.

“I think she would” Prima said I’ll take it and ask her-and Halfblack, Shadow and Black.”

“Ok we will take care of the pups” Star said looking at the other pup guardians.

Prima got the rope and dragged it off to where Demon was; “look what the Pups found!” She said as dropped the rope. “Freda maybe you could take it to the south entrance along with Riley?

“I certainly will” Freda said, she was worried about Demon but was keeping to the sidelines to let Demon’s family care for him
.
“Of course you’re welcome to help drag the cart, Halfblack, Black and Shadow but the vet will be coming. I know you don’t trust humans but he loves all animals even wolves, he wont hurt or capture you” prima said.
“Halfblack don’t feel bad of Nuka; he has a lot on his paws. He dose care for Demon but he knows you can keep him going for the time being, he needs to do the same with Riley

Konrad leaped onto the cart, "I’m testing the strength of it" he said and looked it, “It seems good and strong to me" he said and leaped off.
The Rottweiler nuzzled Halfblack, “remember what Demon said Hawhe-about the guards getting arrested”? he said "But if that policeman dose not arrest them the humans will die; then I will retire from the job I do for them. Well that was the meaning; I think It’s very important he sees the Lab Raid-but if the vet takes him away... What are we going to do about that? Maybe he will come round, or maybe Jules-the vet will have an antidote injection, any ideas anyone?”
Well Halfblack, Black, Shadow and you too Freda perhaps you cold help me get Demon onto the cart please?"

Halfblack looked at Freda "don't be scared of us, you can help to" her voice was sweet and soft you could not mistake the desperation "you go with him, after the raid i'll come and tell you the news". Halfblack looked at her foster brother and licked his ear one last time "you will then tell him the news, untill then you will look after him" the desperation in her voice had now vanished, the voice now had a order that you had to listen too.

OOC: My deepest apologies for being unactive. I do have one question: Have the dogs gotten into the lab yet?

With Black and Freda pushing and Konrad and Shay pulling they got Demon onto the cart.

“Well that’s done now to take him to the South Entrance” Freda said.

Just then Duncan appeared with a folded blanket, “To keep him comfortable until the vet arrives” he said as he quickly and expertly threw it over Demon so that it covered everything but his head “Off you go!” The black German shepherd said

“I will do all I can to save him everyone” Freda said tears in her eyes; the white Malamute picked up the rope and started dragging it off.

Toa walked off towards the gateway, looking behind her to check that Freda was behind her, she was, Toa led the way over the wasteland and the railway tracks.

Freda pulled the cart, following Toa it bumped over the wasteland and railway tracks she hoped Demon would not fall off.

RILEY’S HELPERS
“Rocket, we will be as careful as possible, I promise; Riley knows Skull and he has my complete trust” Nuka said; “I think we will be able to lift Riley rather than rolling her over without causing much trauma!” Nuka carefully lifted Riley’s body as little as possible with his muzzle under her shoulders, top then bottom as the sheet was pulled under her.
He knew that too much movement could make matters worse; he hoped Rocket would pull the cart with K?hui; the blood was clotting now.

Solo helped to lift too; he copied Nuka, but lifted along Riley’s back and chest, at he ribcage, He stepped off as Nuka and Skull gently lifter legs.

Skull carefully lifted at her pelvis; and then at her then at her pelvis and hips, and finally at legs “Jules-the vet should have an injection to help the blood clot and ease your pain!” he said.

Tanga pulled the blanket under Riley as the other dogs lifted her carefully they needed to work quickly and carefully so as not hurt Riley further but get things moving.
Dodger also pulled the sheet under her he was at her stump of a tail and hind legs, as Tanga was at her head and forelegs.

“We want to help her virtually as much as you do Rocket, help her- pull the cart with K?hui” Nuka said as he said as he lifted her legs and as the sheet was finally pulled properly under her.

K?hui supported Riley’s head and neck the whole time as the other dogs helped to lift and pull the sheet under her.
Finally she was on the sheet the dogs lifted the sheet and got riley onto the cart; quickly K?hui picked up the towbar and
Waited for Rocket to take the other side of the crossbar “Rocket, lets go” she said patting the crossbar wit her paw.

All the dogs were as gentle and careful as possible as the helped Riley


As soon as Riley was safely on the cart; Nuka ran to the end of the boxes to make sure the coast was clear, he was just in time to see Freda start moving off with the cart and good for them he thought and was glad to see that the pups we out of the way.

TIAKI AND CO

Meanwhile Tiaki Molly, Martin Jules and Sam, one of Jule’s voluenteers who lived in the flat and had woken up and decided to come wit them to help were just leaving the clinic they would be at the south entrance within a few minutes!
