Luna: Well, the girls thinking about their looks sure keeps me busy, especially with Star. As for friends outside the family, you already know about Star's friend, and of course the fiasco with Angel's gang. Other than that... [looks around] Wait, Toby, what are you looking at in that book?
Toby: Trying to figure out a way to make these medieval catapult designs work with paws. If I start now, I can have an arsenal all set by the time the girls hit puberty.
Luna: Toby!
Toby: Kidding, I'm kidding. I'm thinking a hunting rifle would be a lot more precise. [flips book shut] But yeah, I'm glad to see them growing up. And the boys have been making friends with the neighborhood pups, but there's not much mischief there yet. Caspar's been really outgoing, but Mel and Zar seem kind of withdrawn. We'll see what happens, though.

Toby: Being a protective father eh? Might I suggest something with a bit more punch. Practise the 'Stay away from mah daughters' look. Its cheaper, AND good for the environment.

Toby: Oh, I have been practicing. Just ask Dad.
Rex: He's got the stern part down, but I don't know about intimidating.
Luna: (teasing) Well how do you intimidate with such a cute face?

Toby:Their teen-age is gonna ruin you man.

Luna: When the pups eventualy "leaves the nest" What do you two plan to fill your days with?

Luna: Well, naturally we're not just going to leave them to their own devices (I doubt the town would survive!).
Toby:We'll keep in touch with them, and be available for them any time they need us, just like our folks did.
Luna: But all the same, we do have a few other things we'll be doing too. I believe someone owes me a date to see the Northern Lights.
Toby: Uh, I thought we were going to watch the sunrise.
Luna: No, it was the Northern Lights. But we could throw in the sunrise if you want.

Its now only three days left to Christmas, and the birthday of a certain bunch of rascals. How do you celebrate that big a day? Birthday and Christmas eve all at once.

*Whispers* Any idea what gifts youre giving? If you have that custom that is.

Luna: [glances at pups] Uh, well, I can't exactly say...

Luna: Have DT use an encryption program to code what you cant say in front of the little ones, then Ill use a similar program to decode it^^(School has been interesting lately)

Luna: (snorting laugh) Have you ever seen him try to encrypt?

Toby: Jst wondering, if you happened to find another lost wolf-pup like when you found Loki, how would you handle the situation today? compared to in the past.

Toby: Hmm, good question. I'd probably take him to Aleu's pack, but if they weren't around... well, I'd take my chances and take him in - if I had to.

Toby: What was the most exhillerating experience of your life?

Toby: Hood question. I've had quite a few. I guess if you're talking the so-excited-I-can't-sit-still kind of exhilaration, it would be either when Luna agreed to be my mate, or when Charlie took his first steps. Because both of those, really, were huge. A third one might be when I first felt the pups moving inside Luna. I mean that one, yeah, she had already told me she was expecting, but when it really hit home that we were going to be parents, I just couldn't stand still.
Luna: So let me get this straight. I only figure into two out of your three best moments?
Toby: Uh, well...
Arrow: Come on, Mom, you know you do that just to watch him squirm.
Luna: Well, heck. I've got to have fun somehow.
Toby: Oy...

To all: How would you feel if something happened to one of those you love?

Toby: Well, you know what I did when it looked like something was going to happen. If something that bad actually did happen, I'd be devastated. I think it would be worst if it were Luna or Charlie, though. The two of them mean everything to me.
Luna: I don't think I could live without Toby. I'd hold on for the pups, but I don't know if I'd ever recover.
Terry: You would. You're stronger than I was at your age. And even though Toby is my son, I wouldn't want to see you go on alone if he were to die.
Rex: And as for me, I've faced it more times than I care to think about on the job. It's an occupational hazard in police work. I'd be upset, but I think eventually I would move on. If anyone's loss were to devastate me, it would be Terry's or the chief's.
Arrow: You mean Dad's not on your list?
Rex: [smirking] Toby leads such a charmed life I doubt it would ever happen to him. But if it did, it would make sense.
Toby: Hey!

Pete: As for me, I already went through it once before. I just hope it wouldn't turn me into a big jerk like before if it happened again.
Dixie: Let's just say for my part, I've got a good reason to be thankful you got a second chance when I almost lost you.
