Adam ~
He heard something in the back seat hitting hard against the floor rapidily. He looked back to find a kid having a seizure. He carried the boy 4 miles to the hospital.

Villina arrived back, "Is Adam here?" she asked Emma, who shook her head and made Villina hold still, she touched Villina's shoulder and Villina flinched away, when Emma showed Villina her hand and it was covered in blood, "Come on, you have a big gash right on the back of your shoulder." Emma said and led Villina in to wash it.

Adam ~
He stepped on some broken glass and a piece was stuck deep in his foot. He had that checked out by the hospital and they wrapped it up and gave him shots. He was greatful it didn't cause an infection.

Villina insisted on not going to go see a doctor, because both herself and her friend were doctors... well animal doctors... but same thing. She had Emma clean it up, because she couldn't reach it and she put a gel on it and then went to get her cellphone. She tried to call Adam, though she didn't know if his phone would still work or not.

Adam ~
He looked over at the kid and he walked over. He put his hand on the kid's shoulder and asked him a simply question, Are you okay? He said and the kid nodded. Not looking at him. Adam put his hand in front of the kids face and waved his hand. The kid snapped out of it. Where's your mom? He asked and the kid sniffled, 'She and my father were washed away with the tide.' Adam shook his head and looked at the kid. So where is your other family? The kid answered, 'They all live across the world.' Adam looked at the kid. C'mon. He said and began walking. The kid looked at him confused and Adam repeated it. The kid stood and began to walk with him.

Villina was disappointed when there was no answer and she called several times before reminding herself to have faith. Her husband would return. She cleaned herself up and put on a spaghetti strap to avoid touching her shoulder. She then went out and did what she always did to relieve stress, she tacked up Duke and rode him in her friend's arena.

Adam ~
He found his truck and drove by the house they used to live in. Ruined. He said and looked at the house. Adam looked over at the boy. Whats your name? The boy answered, 'Joel'.

Villina rode Duke around and around the arena. She decided to ask Adam something when he returned. She took Duke over a series of very complicated and high jumps and smiled, patting the warmblood's neck. She brushed him off and put him away. She went inside and took Mel from Emma's arms and held her.

Adam ~
He nodded and put his hand over to him. Adam. He said and Joel shook his hand. Adam drove to a trailer that Joel had pointed out. There, Joel got his dog and ferret. Adam smiled and drove back to house. Adam beckoned Joel inside.

Villina heard a car pull up and she let Emma hold Mel again and rushed out to meet him. She noticed the boy, but not until her had given Adam a very 'violent' but not bear hug, practically latching her arms around his neck and kissing him. She let him go and stood back, remembering the boy.

Adam ~
He wasn't much on happy endings so he just stood there and put his arm around her. He looked over at the boy. Joel this is my fiancee Villina. He said and looked at them. Mason ran out and hugged Adam.

Villina flinched as his arm brushed her shoulder, she looked at Joel, "Hello young man." she said with a smile, she looked at Adam. "I went in after you. It didn't work very well." she said, pointing to a gash on her forehead and the big gash on her shoulder along with obviously showing the many bruises. "I got caught on a pole." she said.

Adam ~
Why did you come after me? He asked in an attitude way. You knew I'd be alright, you couldv'e been killed. He said like a very concerned father. Mason looked at Joel.

"Adam. I.... I just wanted to help you. I had faith, yes, but I acted out of impulse, before I could think properly. I'm sorry. I wanted to help." Villina said. She looked down at her feet, then at the boy. She thought about it. "Is Joel staying with us?" she asked.

Adam ~
He shook his head and glanced over at Joel who was standing there unsure. Yeah, his parents are gone so he might be living with us for a while. He added and looked at Joel.
