As Dakota walked farther away, she had a feeling someone was fallowing her. She turned her head back to look at Cassie and Erin, but they were still far away. he shook her head and began to walk again when there was a sudden movement in the forest. Crouching low to the ground, Dakota looked around. But there was nothing there. "Must be that fish," she mumbled to herself. Sudden;y, there was a bang and sharp pain stabed at her side. She looked down a her side and gasped. She was shot! Her legs began to wobble and she colapsed to the ground in a matter of seconds.

Cassie heard the shot, and her head shot up in a split second. She saw the silhouette of Dakota fall to the ground. "No!" She screeched, sprinting as fast as her legs could take her.

Ben, too, heard the loud bang, followed by Cassie's screech. He looked up, and dropped his moss, chasing after Cassie. He knew the sound was too distant to have hurt his friend, but she was chasing something that could have been....then he noticed that someone was not where she had been before. Dakota!

Dakota felt herself hit the ground with a thud. She looked up at the sky when a sudden siver ran down her spine. She could hardly breathe and was gasping for air. She looked back at the forest and saw a glimps of a rifle appear through the trees before everything went black.

Sevrin Heard the shot as well, and ran off towards it, turning into his Fox form, he ran and ran until he saw Dakota on the ground, he then looked in the direction she was looking, his eyes gleaming with anger, he was growling, baring his fangs, he then ran at the figure, claws extended, he jumped at the figure but he too felt a pain, but it was in his shoulder, he let out a yelp of pain but landed on the figure, laying down as if he were dead, Sevrin didn't move, he endured pain but nothing like this.

Erin ran off, hearing the crack of a gun. Her bloood suddenly started bioling, and she ran off to the still form of Dakota, and now Sevrin. Her tail flicked nervously, and she scanned the treeline for the enemy, her eyes flashing angrily. Why? she asked silently. Her body was tensed to run, or attack, at the slightest movement, the movement meaning danger. She saw a flicker of movement and her eyes looked at it and she saw the silouhette of the human. SHe hissed, he lip drawing back. She took a step back, knowing fully well that he, atleast that's what she thought it was, could shoot at any minute. She heard another crack, and saw the dust explode at her paws. She took a few steps back, and hissed more furiosuly at him, her teeth bared. She snarled, still backing up, knowing that she was still in range of the murderous weapon. Not to mention the guy..

Dakota's eyelid popped open once she heard the pop of a second gun shot. She lifted her head off the ground a few inches and grabbed Servin's shirt and pulled. Her hands clenched into fists and her jaws locked together in pain. "Get me out of here," she whispered and her voice cracked in pain. She let go of his shirt and fell back down.

Erin was still backing away slowly. She kept growling low, deep in the back of her throat. Only her tail portrayed her nervousness. It was flicking from side to side, her fur stood on end, and her hackles were raised. She bared her teeth more, and let out a yowl. She hoped she was out of reach, she didnt want to be shot, then the hope faded, as she heard the crack. She backed up more, but was still hit. The burning pain grew, spreading through her body. "Alright," Sevrin said shocked, he grabbed her and lifed, Sevrin may look small bu he was strong, "Come on," he said, he took her back to their little camp site, and set her down, he hen got up and looked around, making sure it was safe then he heard another bang, his eyes widened, 'Erin?' he then ran back to where he found Dakota, but then he saw Erin on the ground alive but wounded, he growled seeing the gleam of the rifle, he then extened his claws in anger, he walked up to Erin but then stopped, if he got shot then he wouldn't be able to take Erin back to their safe zone, he wasn't sure what to do if he helps Erin now he'd be picked off, f he went for the figure he would less likely be wounded but ake down the figure in the process, he then made up his mind, he charged the figure, running at full speed, getting shot through the shoulder it hurt but still made Sevrin go after the figure, Sevrin got to him and ending up slashing his claws across the figures stomach, making the figure fall to the ground, Sevrin took this as weakness but the figure stayed on the ground, Sevrin the walked to Erin and kneeled by her side, he nudged her with his hand, she was atill alive, he smiled thanking everything that she was alive, he then scooped her up in his arms, his srength draining from the gun shot to the shoulder but he kept going, and he took off back to the group

Erin felt herself being jolted, like she was being carried. Like when she had first escaped. She numbly felt the burning pain, and she unconsiouslly morphed back into human, her body tense and rigid in pain. She dimly felt warm blood trickling from the small hole. She finally roused enough to realize when she had gotten back to their small camp. She lifted herself out of Sevrin's arms, she had just realized who he was, and managed to get over to a tree, and lean against it. She closed her eyes, trying to ignore the burning, the blood, but in vain. SHe was still tense and rigid, and her breaths came in sharp hisses.

Sevrin watched her move to a tree and lean back, he then went to a spot to take care of his wound, he ripped a part of his shirt off and placed it over his woundand tied it with the length of the shirt he ripped off, he then got up and walked over to Erin, "You want to look at your wound?" he asked her, "It seems pretty bad,"

EErin dimly heard his words through the haze of pain that e nveloped her. But she heard them regardless, and inspected it, seeing the hole, the dirt and grass that had got in it. "Cr@p,"she said, looking at it. She began weakly pulling on the slight blades of grass, then morphed, beginning to vigourously cleaning it. It hurt, but she wasnt even fully consious, so that helped some. SHe leaned up back against the tree, morphing back into a human. SHe looked at again. 'It only grazed," she said, grooggily and softly. SHe placed her hand over it, and blood still poured oout, running between her fingers and pooling on the ground.

Sevrin walked closer to Erin he kneeled down in front of her, not caring if she hit him, he then took off his shirt and teared it in half and handed her half of it to put over her wound, and gave the other half to her to tie around, "Take these, and i'll be back, i'm going into town to steal some items to use, like medicine some bandages, and maybe another shirt, or clothes for all of us to use, whatever i come across," he then got up and left to go into town, he walked around stealthfully everytime he heard a noise he'd hide in a bush, he said he would be careful and that is what he's gonna do

Tsar felt the scent of blood from the camp as she neared. Understanding what had happen she covered her mouth and started running the other way. She hoped the others would understand why she weren't there while she jumped into a tree to wait until the wounded people where healed and all the blood scent where removed.

Sevrin Snuck closer to a house and looked inside, it was dark in the house so he thought everyone was asleep, he opened the window quietly, and got in, he searched for things he could take back to the group, he then looked to the left and found a table cloth, he took that and tied it around his shoulder to carry it, he then looked in the kitchen, looking for food, he searched everywhere but found nothing good enough, he then left the kitchen and snuck upstairs, he opened a door, and found someone sleeping, he then backed out of the doorway and went to another room
