"Yeah." said Aleu. "We're all proud to be his kids." she said. "I'm also an Alpha wolf myself, as you can probably guess, humans weren't very fond of my looks." she said, refering to herself looking very wolf-like. "And I didn't belong, I ended up being adopted by a wolf pack and becoming Alpha, I live far away but came for papa's birthday."
Ana nodded. "You sure are smart Rosy."

Rose chuckled. "It,s more common sense than knowledge, kid," she said.

"Actuelly we're here to see our grandfather." said Aleu. "His name is Scout, we heard he doesn't know our papa is still alive so we're hoping he'll want to see him, it would be a great birthday present."
Ana nodded and kept licking the candycane. "I'm glad we came, I get to spend time with you."

Sunny sat up at this. "Scout is your grandfather?!" she nearly shouted. "I didn't think any of his kids even had mates let alone pups of their own."
"Same here, kiddo," Rose said, licking the top of Ana's head. She looked over at Aleu, Kodi, and Sunny when the latter yelled loud enough for all to hear.
Maria stopped midlick to look in the same direction as Rose.

Ana looked at Sunny but accdently got her ear stuck to the candycane.

"Aniu?" Sunny asked in confusion. "No, never. Are you sure you have the right Scout? The on I know doesn't have a son at all. He has three daughters, and none of them are part wolf."
Maria had to help Ana get her ear unstuck from the candy cane because Rose was staring at Sunny with wide eyes.

"There may be a reason for it, Aniu and all his pups but one died." said Aleu. "From the one we got the info from, he was very upset when he came back and told him that, that would be a good reason to keep it hidden."
Ana yelpped as some of her ear fur was torn off.

"Well, he was quite a mess when he showed up here," Sunny said. "I thought it was just form the long journey because it didn't take him very long to get back to wait I assume was his old self."
Ana's yelp get Rose's attention. "You okay, Ana?" Rose asked, trying to pretend that she wasn't listening in.

"Well we're pretty sure he's our grandfather, a trustworthy dog back home told us Scout had came back to Nome a mess, his family dead. He headed here afterwards." said Aleu. "So that would make sense. "I'd say our papa is about five years old, I don't know how old he was when Scout would've thought he died."
"My candycane got stuck to my ear." said Ana, rubbing her ear and biting the fur off her candycane.

"Then it could be him." said Aleu. "Why would he mention something thats caused him that much pain?" she said. "Papa was about two when we were born." she said. "So he could've been half a year old when he was seprated from his parents."
"I know." said Ana, playing, she stuck the candycane to Rose's ear as a bit of payback for not noticing.

Ana laughed and then finished her candy cane. "I'm tired Rosy." she said. snuggling up to her under the blanket.

Maria finished up her candy cane and went over to Aleu. "Do you really think that our grandpa Scout and this Scout are the same dog?" she asked.
"Me too," Rose said, licking Ana's cheek before curling up to sleep as well.

"Of course." said Aleu. "ITs too much to be a coinceadence." she said. "Now come on, lets get to sleep." she said and picked up her baby sister, taking her over to Rose and Ana.
Ana snuggled up to Maria but remained close to Rose. "I love you sis." she said to Maria the licked Rose's snout. "You too." she said, resting her little head on Rose's back.
