Kodi chuckled. "You done enough kicking, Lena?" he asked, tilting his head.

Kai moved away and laughed, rubbing at his ear to get rid of the tickling sensation. "It's okay."

Jenna nodded, looking up at the sky. "we'll be in Juneau by today."

Tai opened her eyes slowly, smiling at Fang before starting to stretch.

Cain huffed. "Yea, but that mutt's old...I'm sure if I got into a fight with him, he'd be dead as a doornail." he grinned cockily.

Mr. Simpson smiled, rubbing Fang's head lightly.

"It's fine" Kodi smiled lightly "I'll live."

Kai nodded, scratching himself behind the ear. "Mhm."

Good, that means I'll be able to tell him... Jenna smiled "That's great."

Mr. Simpson smiled down at his dog, massaging Fang's neck lightly.

Cain looked at Goldie as she giggled. "Well, if he's a scrawny and small as you say he is, then I'm probably bigger than him..."

"But," Goldie corrected "You can't beat him in the brains department." she grinned slyly.

Kodi tilted his head. "Mind sharing sweetie?" he asked

Kai blinked "Why, what dream were you having?" he asked, smiling

Jenna nodded, smiling wider. "They do." she said

Mr. Simpson ruffled the fur on Fang's head. "Alright, boy, we'll be leaving soon."

Goldie smirked. "I'll go get us something to eat, I'm sure the butcher won't be too pleased to see me though." she grinned as wickedly as possible. "And I love it." with a laugh, she left.

Kodi nodded, smiling lightly. "we will, Lena, we will."

Kai nodded, licking his little brother's cheek. "That sounds like a good dream."

"To go through all this," Jenna sighed "and not be the right ones? That'd be a bit unfair."

Mr. Simpson nodded, getting out the bowls and food. He knew Kai wouldn't like the dog food, and so took a slap of meat from the rations. It'd be extra.

Kodi chuckled and dug into his own bowl. "It's what he's supposed to do. When you get home, you'll be staying with your own human most nights." he smiled "you'll get a collar, a bowl, and a warm fire."

Kai couldn't help but smile at Cachen, before looking at the slab of raw meat in the bowl. "I am too." he said, beginning to eat. There was no blood to it, thank goodness.

Jenna nodded slowly, beginning to eat as well.

Mr. Simpson chuckled, rubbing Fang's head as he started to eat. He ate his own bit of food, waiting for the dogs.

Kodi nodded, chuckling. "Your owner is a doctor, and a very good one."

Tai couldn't help but giggle at he Grandpa and brother.

Kai grinned through the meat, shaking his head before going back to his food.

Mr. Simpson saw Fang a nd smirked, finishing his food after another moment or two.

Tai's tail wagged, licking a paw. "I had a very sweet dream last night...."

Kodi chuckled, licking Lena's cheek. "She's your Mother, she'll take it hard."

Mr. Simpson smiled, rubbing Fang's head absentmindedly as he waited, the lines all ready.

Tai nodded, smiling. "That's nice, Cachen...I hope that can happen again." she said as she slipped into her own harness.

Kodi nodded. "Your her first litter, Lena, she'll be sad you're gone, but happy you're happy." he licked his daughter's cheek, before slipping into the harness beside Fang.

Mr. Simpson began checking the lines as the dogs came and slid in.
