The house was dark, and everything was silent. Or at least, it seemed silent. A faint noise came from the upper level of the house - whispers. Close enough to whispers, anyways. Kyan walked up the stairs stiffly, recalling the fateful night when it had actually happened. He didn't know how he would take it, but at least now he had someone with him to replay the scene with.

Kyan clenched his fist up as he walked past a few large rooms - all empty. He stared into them - there were three that lined one wall, and another large on at the end. Slowly, Kyan turned a corner, past the master bedroom and into some sort of large gathering area. He froze in spot, the scene in front of him as vivid as the night it had happened.
There were nine people in total in the room - three looked young, almost like children. The oldest looked about 13 years old. There was a strange man in a uniform holding two of them back, both who didn't dare try to free themselves. The youngest was a girl - her hair black and her eyes the color of the sea. The second eldest was another boy. His hair had dark grey streaks in it, even though he was still very young. The oldest was frantically trying to free himself from the grasp of one of the officers, but the officer held him firmly, hitting him hard if he ever needed to keep him from escaping his grasp. In the center of the room, though, the other two officers crowded around two other adults, one holding a gun up to the female's - the mother's - head, grasping her arm firmly.

Kyan stood silent for a moment, nodding his head as he tried to brush away the tears that had begun to fill up his eyes. "Keep watching." He whispered hoarsely. The officer who was holding the older struggling boy had begun to pull out a gun from his pocket, and the officer began to shout whispers of words to him.
"Shut up!" The officer snarled, hitting the boy with the back of his gun. The boy yelped as it impacted, but it was only hard enough to hurt him a bit. Kyan rubbed the side of his head as he watched what was happening before him. The officers in the center of the room had begun talking a bit louder now, but mainly in loud muffled shouts.
"Let us have your son, and we'll leave you alone. It's illegal to keep him; he's not human. Who knows what kind of damage he can bring to this world. He's a dangerous thing." One of them snarled. The father of Kyan's family shoved him aside.
"We won't let you have him! He hasn't done anything wrong!"
Kyan looked away for a moment, closing his eyes as if bracing himself for the pain that would soon occur.

"Shut up!" The officer holding the squirming boy shouted, letting go of him quickly by accident. Seeing his opportunity to run for it, the boy shot away from the officer quickly. Everything else happened in a moment's time.
Shots rung off in the house, the oldest boy scrambling to his feet as he rolled out of the way of a gun path quickly. He knocked into the officer who was holding back the boy's two siblings, sending him towards the path of another bullet. The officer fell down to the ground, dead. The eldest boy heard his mother scream as another shot went off, and his father cried out sharply as a shot came from his direction. The boy seemed to stop for a moment, as if listening for something. His eyes were fogged over, but Kyan knew the boy could see. As if on cue, the boy leapt behind him, knocking over the officer who had shot his mother quickly, knocking the gun off it's course. It pierced through the wall, just above the boy's younger sibling's heads, all who were now crying. The older boy opened his mouth as moonlight shone into the window, casting a light off his teeth - which were a sharp glinting shape. The boy struck down at the officer's neck as he muttered his last words.
"I told you you'd only bring disaster..." Then the officer fell down silent. Everyone except for the boy and his siblings were dead.

Kyan turned away from the scene, a tear running down from his eye. He knew what was to come next - he had lived it, after all. He walked out of the room, coughing slightly on his held in tears. He leaned up against one of the walls in the house, staring off strangely into nothing.
"It's my fault they're dead." He said hoarsely, looking towards Adi. "It's my fault I've ended up this way."

Adi walked over to Kyan. She then rubbed her hand on Kyan's face, "Don't blame yourself Kyan, you did what you had to," Adi said to Kyan, looking into his eyes.

Kyan shifted his eyes away from her slowly. "If my parents had handed me over... maybe they could have lived. Maybe Ravyn... and Neo... maybe they could be living with them instead of the violent people they had to be raised with. Officers. Exactly like the one... I... killed."

Kyan nodded, although it felt painful to do so. He looked back into the room, seeing the younger version of himself trying to approach his siblings, who just ran back, as if in fear of him. He remembered it happening so vividly. "Adi... they were scared of me for so long. They wouldn't come close to me for the longest time. I felt deserted - a thirteen year old kid shouldn't feel that way." He pulled himself away from the scene and back towards Adi. "But I know one thing that I can't deny. I am dangerous, and I've proved it so many times."

Adi looked at Kyan, she was also dangerous and she had more secrets that she wouldn't tell that only Mick knew. "Are you ready to head back?" Adi asked Kyan.
