Villina laughed as Emma turned a bright red. Emma gave a quick curtsie and then turned. "I'll be back, I have to look for something." Emma said. Villina nodded and watched her friend rapidly walk away. She sighed and sat on her friends couch.

Adam ~
He heard a loud shot, like the sound of a gun and suddenly strong waves crashed over the hill and all over. Adam walked outside and to his truck, he had to get elmo. He knew Hlaey wanted the elmo safe. Adam looked at the next wave and shielded his head as it smashed on his back.

Villina raced to the window and opened the door. She ran outside and saw Adam being swept away, she 'screamed' which was more of a panicked squeal than everything. She looked looked in the water, trying to see Adam, she ran in waist deep, the water swept around her but didn't hit the house.

Adam ~
He looked over as she screamed and threw the elmo doll to her. The wave jerked his legs out from under him and carried him out. Adam fought hard against the waves and could feel them churn with anger.

Villina caught it and wadded out of the water, she tossed it to Emma, who had walked outside and went in after Adam. She swam after him, the cold water grabbing her and pulling her under. She gasped for air.

Adam ~
He stood and found the water was neck deep. He latched onto a deep rooted tree and held on. He looked out against the vast water and suddenly, stillness. They were in the eye of the hurricane. Adam saw the water creep back to the ocean and the ice rain lighten up. This would only last for seconds.

Villina felt the water whisk her away into its depths. She was loosing strength. She struggled to the surface, only to be plunged under once more. She was twisted in the water and she smacked her head on a rock, loosing consciousness.

Adam ~
Soon the rain pelted again and the waves raged on. This part was the worst part of all. Adam slipped off his belt and looped himself onto the tree. He held on, unaware that Villina was knocked out.

Villina was swirled and whirled around, body limp like a rag doll. She was still out but the waves seemed to favor her and lifter her out and crashed her back down again, bringing her air, but then smashing it out of her, repeating this act.

Adam ~
He held on tight as a huge wave smacked his back hard. He winced and felt something sharp in his back. He quickly reached back and knocked a piece of jagged metal out of his back.

Villina came to, struggling. The water overpowering her. She knew why people fled from this now. She had thought it wouldn't be bad, that she could, if the need called, swim through it. She was a powerful swimmer, but this water had a mind of its own and it was carrying her away.

Adam ~
He felt the water tug and then heard a ripping sound. Off went his already torn shirt. Adam held on tighter and soon off went his shoes and socks. Adam was holding on by a thread now. He held onto his jeans quick.

Villina struggled to keep on the surface and soon found herself snagged on some sort of pole, her shirt stuck to it. She quickly grabbed onto the pole and held on the dear life as the water was starting to resend.

Adam ~
He fought against the water and soon it pulled back once more. He knew it was over after this. Adam fought forward again and made his way to a nearby car. He opened the door and sat down. Relaxing.

Villina waited until the water was at her knees to slowly drop. She wadded out and found a broken bike and started to bike up the wrecked streets. She was on a different street than Adam, so naturally, she didn't see him. She biked up the hill towards her friend's house, breathing hard and drenched.
