"Thanks." she said, covering Dakota in it. She pushed the fish near Dakota's muzzle. "Dakot, get up! We have food." she said. "Did you see Ben or Cassie?" she asked. She nudged the fish again, swallowing down visions of chomping down ot it herself.

The scent of the fish reached Dakota's nose and she blinked open her eyes. She was under the cover of tree now, and leave of different colors were all around her. Looking at her paws, Dakota sighed. The black paws that were now her paws were too small to belong to a bear's.She was a cougar again. The words of a strange oldman flodded back to her. The spirits must not be sure of what you are. A bear or a cougar are two different things, indeed." She shook her head as if to erace the memory, but it stuck. Finaly noticing the fish infront of her, Dakota gulped it down happily. She hadn't had a meal since back at that abandoned house.

"hey Dakota." Erin greeted softly. "Glad to see you're awake." she mewled, now in panther form again. Her tail swished in relief. "Feeling better? Or do you think you're going to pass out again?she asked.

"that reminds me" Tsarina said where she had been watching from a safe distance in the tree where Dakota laid under. She jumped down on th other side desiding not to tell the others sense they where so busy with Dakota. Tsarina sprinted away and started to searh for the scent of animals.

Sevrin sat on a stump, watching them, he then looked away, he stood and began walking away, "I'm going for a walk, i'll be back in half-an hour," Sevrin said before walking off. he walked a little ways away, until he got to a pond, he kneeled down and cupped his hands, he then lifted his hands to his mouth and drank. he then leaned back resting drifting off to sleep

"Of course, they left me alone, and didnt even bother to try and find Cassie or Ben." she muttered. he scented Tsar not to far away, but Sevrin was lost from her nose. She shrugged, which looked way different on a panther than one might think. "Hey, Dakota? Where were you all that time?" she asked, curiously.

"Considering we might of just saved your life, I would suggest being less rude. And I was worried about you!" she said hautily. "If your going to act oike that you might as well leave." she mewled. She turned away, rather hurt by Dakota's tone of voice. What was up with her? She had saved her!

As Sevrin laid back against a log asleep, he began to feel cold, he was so used to sleeping with his trenchcoat on. BUt when ever he was asleep he forgot most of the time he was a WereFox, it made him feel much less dangerous to others, he then the woke up and began to walk back, rubbing his scarred arms, how he remembered how he got them. he was captured and tortured, they threw things at him, mostly at night he slept but awoke to people cutting his arms he would've loved to kill them for that but he was tied and chained. this went on for days, but he managed to escape, someone had been to nervous to hurt Sevrin but tried, Sevrin saw how nervous this person was, he growled at him which made him drop the kife, Sevrin using his feet made a grab for it, it worked. he then cut the ropes that were around his arms, he was almost free all he needed to do was to break the chains. he grabbed the chains and pulled, nothing happened, once more they were breaking. one more pull and it broke, he then high tailed it out of the town free from being tortured. But now since he is with this group he still feels tortured. he then appeared he saw that Erin was facing away from Dakota, "What did i miss here?" he asked confused,

"Cassie!" Ben called as he approached the lynx, who was sitting at a small stream. "Oh good, you found water."

Cassie morphed back into a human. "Yes. But how are we gonna get it back to Dakota?"

Ben looked away for a moment, lost in thought. Then his expression brightened. "I have an idea!" And with that, he ran off into the woods. He returned a moment later with bundles of moss. "We can soak these in water, and the Dakota can lick off the moisture."

"Bernard Robertson, you are a genius!" Cassie excalimed. Give me at piece. I can hang it from a stick and carry it back to Dakota as soon as possible, because I can run faster. Then she can get some quickly and you'll be coming back with more."

Ben nodded. "Good idea."

As soon as it was soaked, Cassie morphed and sprinted at top speed, the precious moss draped over a stick that she held delicately between her teeth. She approached Erin and Dakota, slowing her pace only slightly.

Dakota snorted. She then stood on her hind legs and morphed into a human. It had been only yesturday when she could change. While she changed, she saw Cassie coming closer with moss in her mouth and Ben not to far behind. With one more glance at Erin, Dakota sighed and turned to leave.

Cassie stopped right there. The stick fell out of her mouth, moss tumbling to the ground below. "Wait, where are you going?" She tried to ask, but all that came out was a catlike yowl. She sat down. Maybe Dakota didn't want this attention. Maybe she just wanted to help herself. Cassie hung her head, sad for her friend and her own actions.

Dakota heard a yowl or protest behind her and stopped. She turned back towards Cassie and sighed. Without another word, she continued to walk away but then Ben was there.

Tsar found the trail of a deer and took up the hunt. She saw the deer standing still not noticing her silent approach. She crouched and jumped onto it and wrestled it to the ground. She dug her fangs into its neck and it was dead in a few seconds. She drained the deer in a few minutes.

Lynxes could not shed tears, but if they could, Cassie would surely be draining the out of her eyes like rainwater through a gutter. She felt as if she had failed. But if this is what Dakota wanted, who was she to stop her? Cassie knew from personal experience that when someone wanted something, they meant it. At least, that's how she always felt. She just sat there, watching Dakota's figure get smaller as she walked away. She sank to the ground and lay there, her head buried under her paws to prevent anyone from seeing the grief on her face and in her eyes.
