Aniu chuckled. "Hon., your brother saved a whole town that despised him because he's got a good heart, they love him now but he did it because he cared about them, even if they didn't care about him." she said. "I can promise you, he'll love you." she said. "And you were Scout's favorite pup."

OOC: Would it be ok if Aniu helpped Sonya escape into town and they have to avoid Mako until Balto and family make it to save her? Reason being Sonya's already endured a year of Mako's torture, I feel sorry for her  . Aleu walked outside. "Hey guys."Aniu nodded. "Yes." she said. "You do." she said. "I'm sorry you've had to endure this torture, Sonya, its just I haven't been able to think of a way too do it myself."

"We're going to get auntie Sonya back." said Aleu. "But you two need to stay here, you see its one of my jobs to make sure the little pups are safe while their parents are hunting and I'd like you two to do that while I'm gone."
"The reason I couldn't before is you're too weak to survive in the wilderness alone in your condition." said Aniu. "But...with Balto and Scout coming, I can help you."

"Besides we're going into town and need to blend in and not be seen," Kodi said, assuming that was where they were going by what Canyon said earlier. "And those pups need someone to look after them."
"Can't someone else stay behind?" Maria asked in one last attempt, even though she was starting to see the logic in what Kodi said.
"Well, once a day, but never a schedualed time," Sonya explained. "I think he just gives me water whenever he remembers to."

"Well Nava is but he's too old to keep up with baby pups." said Aleu. "You're young enough to do it and you still understand them."
"When he does, I can use the water to freeze the chains, then you can break free and escape out of the window." said Aniu.
Mako came up to the door and threw a pepperspray canaster down into the basement, shutting the door as it releashed its contants in a gas form, letting them fill the basement.

Sonya nodded just before the pepperspray was thrown down. She coughed harshly before falling unconscious.

OOC: How about Aurora gets caught up in the adventure when the pups follow the group, Aurora follows them to make sure they don't get hurt?
Aniu whined at her daughter's misary but then realized something. She got enough fresh air with her powers to wake Sonya up. "Sonya, your eyes are watering, salt water might have a lower freezing temp but its still water, let your tears fall on the chain." she said, managing to find hope.

Aniu breathed on the water, starting to freeze it. Once it was frozen, she looked to Sonya. "Pull!" she said, turning back to the frozen peace of chain, breathing on it again, making sure is froze and stayed frozen.
"You've still got me here sis." said Ana, nuzzling her twin sister.
