Arthur and Alfred returned upstairs aswell, crawling into the bed and curling up.
"I love you Arthur.." Alfred mumbled into Arthur's neck.
"Go to sleep Alfred.." Arthur replied quietly with a teasing smile, and both did just that.

Kat woke up feeling safe in Brett's arms. She noticed that she was in her pajamas but didn't recall changing. Kat shivered and turned to see Brett snoring lightly. Kat curled up next to him and kissed the tip of his nose. Brett's cinnamon eyes peered awake and a smile lit his face.
"Good morning beautiful." He greeted, kissing her forehead.
"Morning." She hummed, a smile on her face.

Arthur and Alfred were already downstairs, Alfred had made breakfast again, and Arthur sat at the table, with only a cup of tea and he was reading the paper.

"..Did you mean what you said last night...How I was...'Safe' now..." Kat blurted, earning her an embrace from Brett. He pulled her in and pressed her head to his chest, this immediately made her feel safe and secure.
"I meant every word, I'm not leaving you. You'll never have to worry about that sadness ever again." He hummed, petting her head and looking at the ceiling. Kat sighed and Brett sat up. "I'm going to go back to my apartment, I'll see you later Kit-Kat." Brett cooed, walking downstairs. The nickname sent a jolt through Kat's body, only Alfred was allowed to call her Kit-Kat. But Brett was gone, so there was no correcting him now. Kat sighed and walked downstairs.

Arthur watched Brett leave and scoffed once he was gone.
"I hate having him here." He growled, sipping his tea. Alfred looked up fromhis food, and smiled slightly.
"Aw why?" he asked, and Aryhur just shrugged.
"I dot want to talk about it."

Kat wondered into the kitchen and poured herself some coffee, before sitting down next to Arthur and Alfred. She yawned and sipped her drink, the word 'Kit-Kat' still burned in her mind.

Alfred looked at Kat warily.
"You okay? You look kinda..pale." Alfred said, poking Kat's cheek. Arthur mumbled so merging bad about Brett before standing and getting some more tea.

"I'm fine." She assured, taking a sip of her coffee, "I just haven't woken up yet, that's all." But that wasn't all. Kat didn't want Brett to replace Alfred, but she had a feeling that he would.
"Brett's pretty cool, huh?" Kat said blankly.

"Depends on if you like a**holes." Arthur snapped, leaning back in his chair.
"Arthur..!" Alfred huffed, tossing a weak glare at his lover.

"I think he's really nice." Kat said, her innocent face in a frown. "How is he an a**hole? He said the sweetest thing to me last night.." Kat mused.

"I don't want to hear it." Arthur growled, feeling anger surge up through him, until Alfred put a hand on his shoulder.
"Dude calm down, just because he's your e-" Alfred began, before Arthur pushed his hand off with a grunt.
"Don't even say it." He snarled angrily, taking a long gulp of tea.

"Jeeze' dude, I didn't know there was so much bad blood between you two. He seems like a pretty nice guy,Alfred, what do you think?" Kat asked, her eyes sad at Arthur's dissaproval.

"I think he looks okay..." Alfred said quietly, trying not to anger Arthur any longer.
"You haven't seen his bad side, and i can't wait for you to see it because im going to kill him if he sets foot on my property again." Arthur snalred, walking swiftly into the living room.

Kat frowned, "Well I intend to have him over more, so if that's the case maybe I'll just move out." Kat threatened, standing up as if to prove a point.

"kat don't g-" Alfred said, standing too.
"Then go. Or just go to his apartment, because i may have to strangle him if i see him again." Arthur called from the other room, his tone slightly lighter, in more of a teasing tone.
