Kodan was hiding in a small cave, when he saw Hiro. "Hiro, get outta here, t-t-the bear, he`s behind you!" Shouted Kodan as he saw the bear come up behind Hiro, he was massive compared to her, yet he knew she would be a nice meal, he drooled as he licked his lips.

"W-what?" Yuuhiro stuttered. "There's a... b-bear?" As if on cue, a ferocious roar came from behind her. Although she knew to stand her ground and not move, her feet pounded against the ground as she ran the way her instincts told her. She swerved tightly around a tree, knowing the giant bear would take a bit of time to turn. She sped off near Kodan again. "Run!" She screiched. "I'll distract him!" She raced thicker into the under growth, faster than the bear's un-graceful, wobbly, gait.

Kodan paused for a moment then shouted out to her. "No, Hiro! You`re part of the gang now, all those who live in the haven are part of the gang, and the gang means family, and I protect family!" He shouted as he ran up to the bear and bit it`s small, stubby tail, it roared in pain and tried to shake him off.

Colton sighed. He managed to remove the bucket---after a few more falls and embarissing moments. He tried to lick the paint off, only to spit it out and lick the floor to get it off. "This just isn't my day." he mumbled as he walked over.

When Kodan grabbed the bear's tail, it gave Yuuhiro an opening. She bounded forward, and leaped up, pushing off of Kodan's head, and landing on the bear's back. It shreiked on fury, and Yuuhiro clung onto the loose fur at the back of its neck with her teeth, holding on for her life.

Koda truned her head, to watch Yuuhiro run off into the distence, running after to try to find Kodan. She smiled and chuckled a bit. She turned back to Alaska, and barred her teeth, snarling a bit. She than caught a glimpse, of her mother, Skye, glaring at her, not happy with Koda's attitude.

Luckily, Butch heard all the comotion, he ran to the scene and saw the giant bear, his son, and Yuuhiro. "Hold on kids!" He called, he then bit hard into the back on the bear`s leg, making it start to fall backwards, he grabbed Hiro and Kodan just in time before the bear fell. It was so large that it had a hard time getting up, it roared in frustration. Butch then put Hiro on his back and grabbed Kodan by the scruff and took them back to the haven.

Taya raced up to Kodan and hugged him. "Where have you been, I was so worried!" She said as tears filled her eyes, but they were tears of joy.

Flipsy secretly pranced after Butch and Taya, knowing that the collie and the german shepherd were looking for there son, Kodan. She secretly had a little thing for the young mutt. SHe hid behind a bush, but soon revield her self as she stood a couple feet behind Taya, as she backed up more and more steps, hoping no one would notice her. Though someone had to fo notice her, considering she was in plain sight. She backed up a little, stumbling into a hole that was most likly dug by the humans. She yelped as she fell, landing on her side in the deep hole.

Kodan turned around and looked in the hole. "Flipsy?" He asked. He grabbed a rope and held on to one end while he lowered the other down to Flipsy.

Flipsy blushed a bit as Kodan garbbed a the robe that layed on the ground beside the hole, and had bring her up. She pushed her self up as she got to the opening, ans isghed with relief as she was ok, and safe from the 'dangerous hole'. She glanced at Kodan, and foudn herself running back to the mansion.

Kodan was puzzled, why was she in the hole in the first place? and why did she just run off? Kodan followed Flipsy, he soon caught up with her. "Hey, Flipsy, how did you get in that hole?" He asked, yet another one of his stupid questions.
