Aleu nuzzled Maria back. "Better get to sleep before spoiled sport Saba yells at us to." whispered Aleu to Maria.
Ana whimppered and snuggled closer to Rose, feeling alittle hurt that she'd been yelled at for no real reason.

Maria glanced at Saba then quickly looked away. She snuggled into her blanket than whispered to Aleu, "Why is Saba in such a bad mood today? Its even worse than it usually is," she added.
"Its okay, Ana," Rose said, cuddling up with her sister. "Saba just doesn't like being so far from home."
Saba laid down with her blanket and closed her eyes, intent on sleep.
Kodi sighed at Saba. She didn't even open her eyes at him. He shook his head at her before grabbing his own blanket and laying down.

Maria looked down quiltily. "But we wanted to come with you guys. To help you find Scout," she said.
"No, thats not it," Rose said. "She just thinks this trip is too dangerous for you and Maria to be on. She's just being too overprotective."

"Sorry for blackmailing you into letting us come." said Ana. "But Saba wouldn't of let us come if we didn't and we really wanted to."

"Yeah, I guess she's just not wanting you to be in any danger." said Aleu. "I mean you are her baby sister."
"Thank you Rosy." said Ana, nuzzling her big sister. "I'm kinda scared we're so far from home though." she said. "That's why I'm glad I have my Rosy here." she said, snuggling close to her sister.

"MAria! Can you come sleep with me and Rosy?" asked Ana, wanting her littermate to be next to her when she slept, that's how it was at home and they both slept easier because of it. "Rosy you don't mind do you?"
Dingo smiled to Rose, he was glad she was so close to the puppies, which was why he hadn't rolled a stinkbomb at her in awhile.

"Of course, I haven't slept with my sister in awhile." said Aleu, smiling to Rose, they'd been close as pups as well. She walked over to Rose.
Ana sniffed Aleu. "You smell nice, like pine trees." she said, smiling, Aleu smelled like the woods.

"I live in the wild so I smell much diffrent." said Aleu. "I've always been diffrent though." she said, remembering how she'd howled so loud as a puppy it had hurt her siblings ears.
Ana looked at Rose wondering what it was like.

"Yeah, most of us lost hearing because of her constant howling," Rose teased. She giggled at the memory. "And her playing. She liked to use her teeth as a puppy."
Maria giggled. She remembered Uncle Borris telling stories like that to her and Ana.

"Yeah, I wanted back then to get an owner like the others but I ended up being left behind while everyone else was adopted...I was really upset, so was papa and mom too." she said.
Ana pinned her ears. "Where you sad for Aleu too Rosy?"
