Spittle awoke with a grunt, his body shifting a bit. He opened his eyes and the first thing he managed to say was “Chiza.” He groaned and tried to get up, but he couldn’t. His limbs were numb, and he wasn’t breathing right. He lifted his head a bit to see Kira and Storm next to each other.

He sighed and struggled to stand, but he did. He felt so uncomfortable; his fur dried with that crimson shade of his own blood. He slowly walked toward the other two, his ears forward as he slowly sat down, not letting his guard down. “Kira..Storm..are you all right?” he asked. He realized that was a pretty stupid question. They were probably just as lame as him.

“Kira..Storm..are you all right?”

Storm's attention exchanged from Kira to Spittle. The male was very weak adn fragile, due to the loss of so much blood and the vicious beating they all endured. Heck, Storm was so sore she didn't want to move, but something inside of her repeatedly telling her to get up and move or everything she and her friends were aiming for would become impossible to grasp. No. They couldn't lose Chiza again. The white wolf nodded her head in a silent response to Spittle's conserned question, but she figured that wasn't enough to convince. "Yeah, I'm fine." She whispered before she glanced towards Kira, wondering if her comrade was alright.

"Not really, but nothing we can do about it.."

The ivory vixen had to agree, none of them had the ability to fully cure their current condition, but it wasn't all too serious, in the least bit anyway. Besides, if they bask in the moonlight while walking, that would surely heal some of the wounds, if not all of them.

A new sense of determination caused Storm to glance in the direction of the next town, where Darcia and Chiza headed. Her eyes burned with blue fire, her burning desire to bring Chiza back into the hands of the wolves even more intense than before. The moon reflect her inner emotions in her cerulean eyes, which sparkled brilliantly. Storm held a very serious and determined expresson on her face, as though she were staring the d**n noble in the face. 'We'll get you back, Chiza. You can be sure of that.' She growled to herself before her undivided attention snapped back towards Kira, whom began to speak rather quietly.

"Lets get going to the next town..We can rest there.."

Already standing, Storm began to limp forward just as Kira got up to lead the way. Instinct nearly drove her forward and show who was dominant, but she couldn't hurt Kira. No, not her friend. Friend...was anyone really her friend? Kira might have been, but Spittle...does he even consider Storm as his friend? Or just a tag-along? Feeling rather angry, the white wolf glanced back at the male, who could barely move. She sneered and looked forward again, trying to ignore the fact that he needed help to walk, let alone move properly. But the feeling that drove her forward caused her to limp back towards the male wolf.

Storm glared at the male head on, her serious and determined expression still visible. Driven by instinct, the white wolf brought herself by Spittle's right side and carefully used her shoulder to make him stand. She was allowing him to lean by her side to help support his own weight to where he would be able to make the long journey to the next city, or until he clearly stated he was able to walk himself. In her human form, she put Spittle's right arm over her shoulders and wrapped her left arm around his waist, to add extra support. "Are you ready?" Storm questioned calmly, not exchanging a glance to him; she was so focused on the road ahead and the fact that they may have to face Darcia again. Storm then waited until Spittle announced that he was ready to move.

Spittle let out a sigh and his ears swiveled to the side, he wondered what would happen to them now. Now that Chiza was gone. Although his thoughts were filled with sadness and pain, he still believed that there was hope for them. They would find Chiza again he just knew it. He glanced toward Kira, examining her before glancing towards Storm.

The black wolf stood up, trying to ignore the pain that was sprouting throughout his body. He plopped back down, in a sort of slumped sitting position. On his back the fur was damp, and he could smell his own blood starting to stick to his fur. He lifted his head towards Kira and Storm, watching as they continued to walk on. His expression was blank, only his eyes holding the pain.

His eyes flashed to Kira and then to Storm, his eyes not moving for a second when they were on the white she-wolf. He watched her turn around and limps toward him, her expression serious. His lip twitched and his eyes stayed locked on hers, his face cold and hard for a moment. He stood slowly, leaning on Storm's shoulder. He whispered a "thank you" and gave a tiny smile before looking forward again.

Of course he thought of Storm being his friend. He hoped the three of them would be friends... forever.
