Zion steps into the cave all his pups were sleeping. Ivy and niky was at the far right side, niky was kicking at her leg and she grunted, Niky and lorra hid at the back shaking alittle but sleeping like new born pups, bella and aidan and tasha and roberta were at the middle rolled over and lazed out, zion makes his spot on theright side at the front to guard. looking up to hailey who not entered yet "Hm?"

"aren't they sweet?" she whispers gazing at the sleeping pups, "very soon, they won't be little pups anymore, they'll be young adults like we were when we first met," her eyes sparkle, "remember?" She snuggles against Zion, smiling softly and yawns quietly. "Night, love," she murmurs..

Zion smiled. as mad he was he couldnt help but being glad his pups are his and haileys. as hailey lies down infrot of his within nose lengh, he licks her nose "good night my love"




Aaaaaaaand one year later! =D teenagers O.O we start this of tomorrow <3

1 year later....

Hailey woke with the sun in her face, warming her red fur and the sound of her children (now yearlings) arguing.

"Ivy! Get your foot out of my face!"

"well move your head you doof!"

that would have to be Ivy and Robbie bickering again...

Sighing, Hailey got up, "easy girls," she said softly.
Ivy and Robbie don't seem to hear her.
Hailey looks around for her mate. "Zion?"

As hailey called out for zion, Zions ears perked outside the cave. he just returned from fishing with tasha and pokes his head past the entrence "You called?"

Tasha came beside her father, she was half his size still looking up to him. with fish dangliung from her mouth

Niky covered his ears "I swear you two get louder each yell"

Hailey smiles at the two of them, "Morning love," she says and licks him on the nose, then she nuzzles Tasha.
"Robbie and Ivy are bickering..again...Could you maybe...just have a word with them..please?"

"I know!" Lorra calls from her spot next to Niky. "I wish we could sleep once in a while!" She grumpily walks past James and out into the sunshine. "Morning Daddy." She says sweetly.

Zion nodded and looked to Lorra, dropping his fish infront of hailey. and tasha did the same "Hello lorra, And yea i tell them, they both love fish i just say they wont get any. you can call the rest of the pups to breakfast" Zion nuzzled Hailey and walked up the bickering pair, he towers over them as they both stop and look up, he glares down to them not pleased

Niky sighed and sniffed "Food!"

Bella head raised up and looked around "Fish!

James looked up to "You both shut up its just food"

Ivy and Robbie look up a little ashamed of themselves.
Ivy gives Zion a "she started it" look.
Robbie's stomach growls.

Aidan yawns and stretches, accidently kicking Niky. "oops..." Aidan grits his teeth and stumbles over James and gets out before Niky can snap at him.

Hailey shakes her head, i swear this cave is too small for us now... She looks at her pups, who are almost full grown. Her thoughts turn to their puppy days.
She smiles softly and calls out "TIME TO EAT!"

Zion glared "If i catch you both bickering one more time. you both wont be fed for 3 days. and you have to sleep outside. Now go eat and ignore each other in future. i be watching" He kept his voice low mad but not aggresive

niky was going to snap but the smell of fish stopepd him. he rose to his paws and jumped over his siblings

Zion watched the mall stumble to get to the entrence and walks over to hailey. grabbing a big fish with him. he drops it by hailey "This be for us, and i think we should think about moving dens, somewhere bigger"

O-okay daddy.." mumbles Roberta
"Yes, Dad" says Ivy.
They wait until the other pups clear out, then they walk out as well.
"hey wait for me, Niky!" Ivy calls.

"Thank you dear," Hailey says gratefully. She takes a small piece of fish, almost 2 seconds later, the swarm of pups swarms onto the catch, they begin eating and gobbling their breakfast.

"Oh dear.." Hailey shakes her head, "we need a bigger den and a bigger lake!" she chuckles but then grows serious. "We may have to let them go..."she says quietly.

zions eyes grow large "what? They only 16months old. they can barley feed themselves now that prey is rare. all we got is fish and this the only fishing hole we know. if we let them go this early they may not be able to find food."

Hailey's tail twitches. "They can't stay here much longer. They grow every day. Soon we're all gonna have to sleep outside." She tilts her head, thinking pensively.

"Well wait till they atleats 2 years old so they can go alone. i remember my mum telling me about growing up, something about 2 years minimum. so i think we should follow that. gives us time to train them to survive" he looks over to the cave

"2 years?" Hailey groans good naturedly. "Maybe we should just let them all sleep outside!" She smiles and looks up at the sky.
The pups finish eating, their tails wagging. Aidan looks up and playfully pounces on his father.
"c'mon dad!" he hollers.
Boy has his voice changed, Hailey thinks.

Zion smiled then out of no where his pups jump on his back and head "Ack!" He was pinned down by the heavy pups "No fair" he grinned and sits up with the pups still charging into him "Hey cut it out! your geting to strong you lot"

Niky didnt join the playfigh he lied down in the distence watching with ?Ivy sitting with him "I of thought they all of matured by now, they still acting like the pups. they wont understand like me and you do" he turned to Ivy

Tasha was at Zion's leg looking up to him while james and bella were climbing on his back making him fall into a lie down stance

Zion fell with a uff "Uff you STOP it now!" he growled "Your starting to hurt me" He got upand spuna round to the pups who pushed him

James and bellas head fell
