"How right you are, wolf."

Storm fixated her cerulean optics towards a male being that casually stepped out of a large jet-like machine. She was covered in dirt and sand, but the problem was quickly resolved when she shook from head to tail. Storm quickly regained a protective stance, barring her fangs with her neck and nape fur bristling. A quick glance towards Spittle and Kira confirmed they were doing the same thing.

"Hand over the, maiden..."

With a loud snarl adn her lips pulling themselves to reveal her upper gums jetted with slicing teeth, Storm rebelled. "Never! What makes you think you could take Chiza!?" Her thoat rumbled with a rippling growl after her voice succumed to silence. Before she could even make a move, Kira had already bounded forward. But her attempt soon failed when a piercing lazer shot out from the flying machine and sent Kira to the air adn down to the ground. From impact, Kira had spilled blood, causing Chiza to gasp in pain. Not too long after the failed action, Spittle spoke up, moving to the Maiden's left side.

After hearing the man's short introduction, she snarled once more. 'This guy's a decendant from the guy my father fought...' She pondered only a moment's time, before her thougths were inturrupted by the explosion nearest her. Kira had ran back towrds Darcia and Spittle was escorting Chiza in a different direction. Time to take action!

The lack of hesitation drew Storm to shoot forward, dodging a few lasers and explosions in the process. Kira was then thrown back like a rag doll by another laser, as well as Spittle. No matter, this guy had to be stopped, and Storm had to sink her fangs into his flesh at least once during this quarrel. Her fangs remained visible as she galloped forward, claws raking the earth before she forced herself forward with a mighty leap, hovering only a foot or two above the ground, towards Darcia IV, jaws open and claws stretched out to latch on her prey. If she succeeded, her would get a gnasty wound at least on his arm, but if she so happen to miss, she would still latch onto his clothes a rip a small amout from his body.

Spittle found himself soaring through the air his body growing tense as he neared the hard ground. He hit the ground with a yelp but stood up seconds later, staggering a bit but he gained his stability back and bolted at Darcia, zig zagging and bounding. Spittle lunged forward when he got close enough and opened his large jaws, waiting until he would latch onto this strange male and hopefully, injure him some.

Boom!

Her vision blurred by a large white and red flash before the explosion sent her flying. The wind was literally knocked out of her and blood trailed after her in mid-air. She was directly hit by the laser's explosion, with could have been fatal, but luckily Storm was a fighter and; however, the impact hadn't done too much damage.

She landed on the ground with a loud thud, almost sickening to bare and blood splattered all around her still corpse. She lay still for a few seconds until she coughed about a mouthful of blood before she gasped for breath. Storm growled at hte thought of not being able to scrath the b**tard that had nearly killed her, but her rage and determination didn't stop her from trying.

She rose to the ground before she noticed another laser sent Kira and Spittle flying. Now was her chance. Shakily getting bak on all frours, the white wolf snarled. "Just try and kill us, your attempts will be futile in the end." She took in a large chest full of air before she darted forward yet again, a large blood trail following after her from a severe wound on her chest rfom the recent laser. No matter! She had to keep the Flower Maiden away from this guy, even if it meant risking her life. I mean, who wouldn't risk their life for Chiza? Yeah, that's right, no one.

Storm had dodged yet again a few more lasers before she actually got close to the man. She snarled once more before she lunged again, bloody jawls wide open, ready to clamp onto flesh and taste the rich blood of a human. 'Hopefully a laser doesn't hit me directly...' She hoped while she hovered in mid-air, only a few feet away from Darcia IV.

Spittle found himself lying on the ground, his body shaking a tad from the impact of the laser. Blood oozed out of his head and hip as he struggled to get up, making the pain worse. He wouldn't give up though. Never.

The large wolf stood shakily and walked forward a bit, stumbling a tad. He walked over to Kira and looked down at her. "Kira?" He asked and nudged her. "Come on, Kira. Don't give up." he urged her on, his ears pushing forward as he lifted his eyes from Kira to Darcia lV. His maw wrinkled and his hackles rose in aggression and pain, his tail lifting as he stepped over Kira. "I hope you rot in hell." Spittle spat.

It was as if time had fully stopped. Storm was caught in mid-air as the dramatic moment took place. Her eyes were narrowed in a fericious snarl, but not a sound was heard. Her pupils shrunk back into cerulean irises, a trait oh so common in aggression and anger. But one thing that puzzled her as she seemingly moved not even countably; why couldn't she hear? It was most likely because of her ears were pounding with blood that ran through her viens. Or because she was acutally bleeding from the insides of her ears and all over her body; she was losing blood. 'Crap...' She snarled to herself before she was abruptly sent backwards with a throbbing pain on her muzzle.

Storm growled loudly before she could actually clear her vision from the lack of blood and after the impact of an unkown force. Looking towards Darcia, adn seeing the ripples of the air, it was a force-field. That sneaky b**tard. Her fangs flashed before her, bloodstained by her own crimson fluid. She was bleeding everywhere.

Before she had any time to react and by the time her paws touched the ground, she was pushed backwards once more by a laser that nearly dicrectly hit her body. The explosion also sent rocks flying after her, some even whaking her as she was thrown. Blood pured from her beaten bodice before she landed, yet again, with a loud and sickening thud. Her own blood smeared on the rocky earth where she had skid to a stop. She coughed a few times, brining up more blood while doing so. But she didn't want to give up. She couldn't.

Not paying attention towards Kira or Spittle, Storm shakily rose to her paws, blood dripping everywhere from her body, a visious snarl errupted from her hoarse throat. But before she could react, another laser hit the ground, the shockwave pushing her farther away from Darcia and the Flower Maiden. She snarled again, even more angered fueled with frustration. Suddenly; however, she fell to the ground, blood splashing in all directions. She was losing too mush of the crimson liquid it would be considered suicide to attempt to charge again, but she couldn't even move. Her vision had faded into totall darkness and her heart could barely pump without the right amount of blood. No worries; though, if she rests now she'll be fine in a few hours.

Before she totally went unconsious, she could feel a soft object skim her fur. She opened her right eye -the one she wasn't laying on- and looked up to Chiza before she settled down to her gentle petting of her white pelt. A bloody, toothy grin was all she could manage before she totally blacked out, her body limp.

Spittle's throat let out another spine tingling snarl, his ears pressing back against his head. Another laser sent him flying over, kinda like head over heels. That was it; it completely knocked the wind out of him. It sounded like a large gasp as he hit the ground on his back. He rolled over onto his side, trying to lift his head. He could taste his own blood; it tasted sorta like a penny.

"Chiza..Don’t.." Spittle managed to say. He closed his eyes when she groomed his fur and kissed his dry black nose.

Spittle laid his head down and let out a sigh, his head tilted upward, a little stream of blood escaping his lower jaw. The blood dripped onto the hard ground making a small puddle, soon to be larger.

"Chiza.." Spittle mumbled before everything went black for him.

After a while of silence, Storm began to slowly move around, causing herself to wake up from losing consiousness. Her right cerulean eye steadily opened to a narrow slit, lazily looking at nothing in particular until she heard Kira wince. Her ears pricked forward, but after she tried to rise to at least lay on her stomach, she snarled as a sheer pain rippled through her body. She could feel her whole body throb in pain, and, bearing the pain to do so, she glanced at her body only to see blood nearly covering every inch of her white pelt. The blood was still a bit damp, but she was no longer bleeding excessively thank to the moon above. She was also surrounded by a puddle of her own blood, but it too was nearly dried up and it stained the ground.

Aside from Kira, she wasn't feeling the least bit hopeless. They could always try to get Chiza again if they tried. And Storm would gladly do it herself if the others refused. Storm urged herself to all fours, the pain not allowing her to rise without grunting. Once she was steady on all fours, she looked towards the night sky, where the moon shone hazily and the direction where she thought Darcia IV took Chiza. The moon's silver-hued glow reflected from her dazzling eyes, as well as her crimon-stained pelt. If they were to stay under the moon's heaing rays for a little while longer, they would be rested just enough to make it to the next city. if there was one before they reached the Mountain of Life.

Storm turned her gaze towards Kira, and then Spittle, who was still lying still. Before she got up to make her way towards the ebony female, the white vixen shook herself, throwing small blood drops in separate directions which splattered on the ground like wet paint on a carpet. Once she did make it to Kira's side, she spoke in a raspy, but determined tone. "We'll get her back. One way or another. She looked Kira in the eyes, weather Kira herself looked at Storm's eyes straight on or not. they will get Chiza back. They just have to...
