Animation Source Forums

No not at all feather! Me and Army are doing a private rp because we don't have much to do on the forums anymore. But this rp is going great, it's just kinda slow right now. And you are a great writer, no doubt! I'll do a private rp with you too if you want!

"Maybe she wants to kiss him. Even though that would be really weird because I don't really like Hiccup, and she's my twin." Blabbered Tuffnut.

Ashling paced back and forth, blowing her brown hair out of her face. "Well, that seems like a terribly timed thing to do," she said, slightly off-handedly. "We've got bigger problems right now... Like that giant thing out there."

"Before anything else happens, I had nothing to do with the bow-chica-bow-bow!" Said Snotlout.

Ashling shot a rueful look. "Well, either way, we need to get out there. The thing's already wrecking havoc on the forest..." She stiffened suddenly, her hazel eyes widening. "Oh, no, my house!"

Snotlout and Tuffnut looked out the window to see the giant thing stepping on Ashling's house.
"Oh, that's too bad." Said Snotlout.

Ashling suddenly turned on him, her eyes blazing. She advanced, her face lit in rage and jaw clenched. "Too bad?" She snapped. "Too bad? That's what you have to say about my home being destroyed, the only place I belong? My chicken yard? You know, my means of survival? I'll burn down you're whole livelihood, you..." She suddenly bit her tongue, rather painfully. "... And see what you think then! Having the things you worked your whole life to make! We are going to go out there, and we will kill that thing! And if you don't want to help, fine -but I'll be sure your life is nothing but pain for treating me with such apathy! You don't know what it's like to live on your own, gathering and making your own food, with no parents around to take care of you - to grow up with two friends in the whole village, and one of them being a rooster!" She stood face-to-face with him, holding eye contact severely.

"Whoa, babe, calm down! I didn't mean to be offensive!" Snotlout took a step back - he was a bit scared even though he didn't want to admit it.

"And don't call me 'babe'," she hissed gravely. She turned off sharply, then leaped clear of the window. She stood outside, watching the beast.

"What's up with her?" Asked Tuffnut whispering. At the front door, Hiccup saw Ashling jump out the window. "Hold on a sec Ruff." He then walked over to Ashling. "Hey, you okay?"

"Seen a brighter side of life," she told him. "The thing just destroyed everything I worked for in my life. My homestead. My chicken yard... Possibly the hens."

The former prince ran through the woods, barely noting the gentle upward slope. He finally reached the top of the slope, on a grassy cliff above the village. He gasped, staring at the giant beast, and pulled his bow from his back. "Holy spirits of the ground and sky," he breathed.

(Whose he?)

"Wow, I'm so sorry Ash. You're welcome to stay at my house for as long as you need if you want though." He watched the dragon destroy more things.

(His name is Robyn, he is an upcoming character. I posted a nice little exposition about him earlier.)
"Thank you," she mumbled, looking down.

Robyn aimed an arrow carefully, then let it loose - it his the beast squarely in the jaw. He watched as the beast roared, but didn't seem as if severe damage was done. He narrowed his eyes.

Hiccup noticed a boy with an arrow near the huge dragon. "Do you see that?"

"I see him," Ashling told Hiccup, blinking. "I can't believe he's taking the thing on alone!"
