(Then it is just me then )

"Mom told us that learning from our mistakes is the important part of making them." Anuli said. "So, we've definitely learnt our lesson this time."

She put her head on her paws, engrossed in thought.

(Guess so then^^)

- Well, she's right. Your mother is a wise lioness, Sergei said with a smile and raised his eyebrows.

(But Uzuri is beautiful^^ I'd love to see her up)

"I'm so ashamed." Anuli mumbles.

(Aww thanks! ^^ I'm going to have to change her name though, I can't believe I didn't remember I already had a character with that name o_o')

- There's no need to be embarassed, sweetheart, Sergei said with a smile, after hearing his daughter mumble.

- It could've happened to anyone.

(You can put the same name for her, just put her role in brackets, like Uzuri(Aleksei's Mate) or something like that. Because that name seems to suit her a lot^^)

"It's not that, dad." Anuli admitted. "I was so scared in the middle of that stampede. I'm gonna hate myself after that."

(Oh I already changed it^^ I really hate having two characters with the same name, it just confuses me.)

- Anuli, it's all right to be scared. It doesn't make you look weak to admit you're scared, on the contrary, it makes you stronger. We're all scared sometimes, Sergei spoke to his daughter, closing his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.

- Eve I was scared today.

(What's her new name? Is she up?)

"Yeah, after the incident." she replied. "I froze up there, Dad. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life!"

(Savannah, and no she's not, yet^^')

Aleksei walked up to his sister, and sat down in front of her, lowering his head a little.

- Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was pretty darn scared too, he said.

(Savannah's also a good name^^ But didn't you have a KovuxNala cub named Savannah? Because I seem to remember reading her bio)

Anuli sighed. "Thanks, Alek," she said.

"But, I'm still pretty mad at myself. I should've done something, despite my fear. I should have tried to help you instead of grabbing onto that branch like it was my favorite plaything."

(I did, but since I never used her, I deleted her and decided to take that name to a charrie I'd give more attention :S But, take a look at this! http://www.animationsource.org/lion_kin ... umart=7256 )

- Don't beat yourself up, Anuli. Let's just be glad dad got to us in time, Alek tried to make his sister feel better.

(Okay^^ Sergei as a cub= cuteness!)

Anuli turned to her brother and smiled. "I guess you're right. Thanks for helping me out."

But deep inside, Anuli was making a resolution. She would never be put down and frozen like that again. If someone was in trouble, she wasn't going to let fear control her life anymore.

(Yup^^ I know right! I just couldn't resist C:)

- That's what I'm here for, little sister, Aleksei said with a smile and raised his eyebrows.

(Yep^^ It's making me think of doing a few things of Safari as a cub^^)

Anuli felt grateful to her brother for putting up with her. "I must be a very impulsive sister, huh?" she grins.

(Do it, I'd love to see some cub Safari^^)

- Yeah, you are, Aleksei said with a grin, and laughed a little.

(I'm on it!)

"How do you guys put up with me?" she softly asked.
