Cody smelled the vampire before he got into Shay's and his bedroom and he heard him raping her. Cody went outside and grabbed Alex by the throat when he fled out of the window. Cody jumped into their bedroom with Alex in a death grip and looked at Shay while saying "What do you want me to do to this pathetic low life?"

Cody said "You hurt my mate, you f*****g b*****d. I will torture you and once you beg for death that is when I will finally give it." He sank his teeth into Alex's throat and threw him against the door. It burst open and Cody came up to Alex again and threw him into the living room. He sank his teeth into Alex's neck again and threw him down the basement. He went down there and grabbed Alex by the throat and shoved garlic down his throat but not enough to kill him. Cody threw Alex inside the torture chamber and locked the garlic door that lead inside. He went back upstairs and went to their bedroom to check on Shay. Once he was in their room, Cody sat down on their bed and wrapped his arms around Shay and pulled her very close to him.

Cody said "He is down in my basement. So, don't go down there. Okay?" He started to cry and said "I am so stupid. Please, forgive me, Shay. I heard the screaming but I thought you could have killed him yourself because you are stronger than he is but I was stupid. I failed you, Shay. It's my fault and I am so sorry. Punish me if you want to."

Cody cuddled with Shay and held her the closest he could. He kissed her forehead and laid his head over Shay's neck so their necks were touching.

Cody suddenly awoketo screaming and asked "What's wrong, Shay?"

Cody grabbed Shay's face and stared into her eyes while saying "Look. It can't be Alex because he is down in the basement where there is a cell for torturing and the bars are made of garlic and the bars are sprayed with holy water also. So, there is no way for Alex to get out. And you are a werewolf now, so, be mentally stronger because you are very strong physically."

Cody pulled the covers off of Shay and said "Just stay there and let me comfort you. Okay?"

Cody looked at Shay lovingly and said "I love you Shay. I must make sure you have no doubt in your mind about that. You need this closeness also." Cody tipped his nose to Shay's nose and started going in and out of her slowly and sweetly. He french kissed her.
