Bandanna darted after him, her pace in time with his. Her hair swept back into her eyes, on account of her not having her bandanna. She sighed and shook her head.

Bandanna barked and wagged her tail as her owner ran to the door, a smile glittering on his rough face. Where were ya, girl? he asked, picking her up and hugging her. She licked his cheek and leapt from his arms, barking and nudging Kaltag with her nose. Her owner raised an eyebrow, a smile still slicked on his face, and he led them in. The fire crackled in the hearth, and her girl leapt from the couch, holding out her arms. Bandanna rushed into them, and felt her owner's hands rub her belly and her chest. She smiled and motioned for Kaltag to come in.
