Aleu smiled at her baby sisters.
Ana yelpped and fell off Rose's back into the snow. She dug herself out. "I'm ok." she said and saw the city. "Cool!" she said, it was a big city, bigger than she'd ever seen before. "Have you ever seen a city this big?" she asked Rose.

"Race ya there!" Maria said, running past Saba and toward the city.
Kodi chuckled. "Are you too old for a good race?" he asked Aleu before sprinting after Maria.

Aleu ran after her brother. "Watch out for skunks this time!"
"I'm too tired to race." said Ana, standing next to Rose. She was happy for a lot of things, particularally that Rose's owner wanted Ana as well, that way they wouldn't have to be apart.

Kodi laughed as he ran passed Maria. "You just worry about keeping up, lil' sis!" he shouted back to Aleu.
"Hey!" Maria shouted as Kodi passed her. She didn't like not being the fastest, but her legs weren't as long as they would be, so it normally didn't bother her.
"Well, we better keep walking or we're gonna get left behin," Rose said, picking Ana up by the scruff and walking toward the city.
Saba allowed her sibling to go passed her. She trotted along in their trail, going faster than Rose but not in the race.

Aleu looked at Maria. "Don't worry, if you want to learn to be faster, just ask Papa." she said. "He taught Kodi." she said and continued on.
"Rosy, I'm glad your owner wants me." said Ana. "I couldn't think of not being with you."

Maria smiled at Aleu before pushing her legs farther, trying to gain a little more speed.
Kodi looked back at his sisters and smiled. When he turned to face front again, he had to stop immediatly. A rusted all fence was in front of him. He nearly slammed into it. not paying attention.
"Same here, kiddo," Rose said with a smile through Ana's fur.

Aleu skidded to a stop but slammed into Kodi, causing him to slam into a metal post for the fence, hitting his groin. "You ok Kodi?"
Ana saw what happened to Kodi and cringed. "Oh thats gotta hurt."

Rose set Ana down when they reached the fence. She grimaced when she saw Kodi.
"I;m. Fine," Kodi said between his teeth, curled on the ground. The pain soon passed and he was able to see straight. "Come on," he said, getting up. "Through here." He found a spot on the bottom of the fence that has been completely rusted through. It was big enough for them to sueeze through. He went first and waited for the others to follow.
Saba crawled through the hole after Kodi and sat down beside him.

Ana walked through the hole, being a little pup she didn't have to duck or anything. She licked Kodi's cheek to show she cared about him to.
Miki and Aleu squeezed under and waited for Rose.

Rose dusked through the hole and shook out her fur when she was through. "Where to now?" she ask Kodi.
"Um..." Kodi looked around. The siblings were at the end of an alley. "I haven't really been in the city before. Just through it. I think they have a boiler room near the center of the town. But I'm not even sure where we are."

Ana set again Rose to stay warm. "A boiler room sounds nice, its cold out here!"
"Kodi, we need to find somewhere warm, the pups' fur isn't thick enough to keep them warm when they sleep." said Miki. "And this was your idea you know."

"Okay, okay. I'll go look," Kodi said. He padded to the end of the alley. It came out to the town square and across the why was a boiler room twice as big as the one back in Nome. "Come on. I found it!" he called back to his family.
Rose picked Ana up and padded hurredly toward the spot Kodi was at.

"We should probably ask permission." said Miki. "I mean Kodi's the only sled dog here."

"Why don't we go check it out," Kodi said. "Somebody's bound to be in there. We can ask them if we can use it." He began to troy across the town square.
Saba followed behind Kodi. "Well, come on," she said to the others.
Rose looked around to make sure there wasn't anyone around. She didn't want to get into any trouble here. With Ana still in her mouth, she went with Saba and Kodi.
