Blue was part wolf. That's why she was drawn to Cheza

Yep, Miss Blue (I almost typed Balto. -_-) is err.. a wolfdog. As everyone else said, but I'll repeat what they said because I am stupid.

Okay -adds more to this post- Why must that darn GDW thingy have more votes than wolf's rain? .. Joking. -yawn-

I'm upset that in Wolves Rain they're people most of the time.

I don't really blame them for drawing them as people most of the time. I suppose they're easier to animate than those super-realistic wolves. It would have been nice to see them more as wolves, but it doesn't really detract from the plot or anything.

Well the votes change all the time I'm warming up to WR a little, but I'm not so fond of the show.. however WR music videos catch me right away. I'll always love GDW and GNG better though, but WR is ok to me

The animation is lovely, the blood and gore is awesome, but it just looks crap. There's too much people...and they've WAAAAYY over-did it with the wolves; making them look like savages, especially with the drooling

Hm, the more I watch of Ginga Densetsu Weed.. the more I get bored of it. It's just a dog dies in almost every ep. and it's like the same thing over and over(kinda). =/ I'll always like Wolf's Rain (And I am starting to like Wolf's Rain more than Balto.) But anyways, in GDW the voices are super annoying and Weed is getting very annoying to me oddly now. I don't like how they kinda overdo it with the crying: WAHHHHHHHH! x_X I never in my life heared someone cry so loud. But, GDW is still alright to me. I just like Wolf's Rain wayyyy better, and plus, I would love that they showed the wolves more but you know it must be hard, seeing as the wolves look very real and awesome.

And I like the plot alot, plus they don't make the wolves evil or anything. But what do you mean over do it with the wolves? The wolves look perfect for cartoon. o_o I haven't seen any drooling.

But yes, that's what I shall say for now. n-n

I agree. I never saw a wolf drool in Wolf's Rain. :S And I think Wolf's Rain has beautiful animation; probably the best I've ever seen in an anime.

I don't get why everyone thinks Weed is annoying. What, just because he doesn't go on a killing spree means that he's a sissy?

The reason I dislike (note, I said dislike. Not hate. I like WR a bit, but I don't hate it.) Wolf's Rain is that there's too much humans, and not enough animals. Of course I may be wrong, but still.
I agree that their crying in GDW is a little bit overdone, but, uhhh, atleast you know they're really sad. . .? :P

The reason I like Wolf's Rain is because the wolves actually act like animals (even in their human form) they don't cry, they don't feel pity, and they don't come in ridiculously huge numbers. I liked the action in Weed, I liked Weed's way of thinking, and he certainly is not a wimp (girly, but not a wimp) but I couldn't stand that there was a perfectly good character getting their throat ripped out and dying in every cursed episode and everybody cried for hours. Holy crap, I didn't even know that character for two seconds and he died, why should I cry over him? And why are YOU crying over him?! Get over it! But anyway, back on track. Weed was just too repetitive for me. As soon as they found Gin, I wanted to stop watching the series because I just knew what was gonna happen. All of these guys are gonna die, Weed's gonna make some lame speech, and everything's gonna be hunky dory again. Now for Wolf's Rain? Who expected it to end the way it did? I sure didn't! I was so surprised!

Well for a start, GDW has crying because it's emotional. It's meant to be an emotional series. They over-do it with the crying because obviously the dogs have lost someone special to them (Weed's mother) and they are obviously very upset!

You haven't seen any drooling?!? What I meant was, whenever the wolves opened their mouths, a whole glob of spit hangs from the roof of their mouth to their tongue. And, they make the wolves look like savages, because tehy show them ruthlessly killing eachother and humans. Now I know that's what they do, but in that trailor, it looks like the wolves are killing the humans for notjing. And a real wolf would'nt do that. They'd only attack if a human threatened their pack or cubs
The wolves do look lovely, but not perfect. The 3-D animation is beautiful, but much too over-done

In GDW, the voices are NOT annoying apart from Hougen's! They all have beautiful Japanese speaking, and tehy all suit their chars wonderfully. Weed's voice is the best, he sounds so young, and makes me want to meet the boy that did his voice!

All-in-all, Wolf's Rain looks much too overdone with too many things

For one, yes they lost someone that they cared about but I mean, goodness, of all the people I know who lost someone that they REALLY cared about NEVER go; "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" and it's very annoying. And sounds fake.

The wolf wasn't killing them for no reason. If you watched the show, then you would know. The human that owned Blue was trying to kill them, but oddly, I haven't seen them kill the human. They do not kill the humans for no reason .. They act very much like wolves, look like wolves, and I never saw any drooling EVER and I seen this show TONS of times.
=/ I hope this don't turn out as some GDW vs. WR but, yeah. The people who drew the dogs in GDW need to do a wee bit more research on dogs. ^^

Errr...

For a start, the crying was very real. And the animators just wanted to make the programme more emotional. And they're very good at it

And, in those two trailors, I saw 2 shots with wolves snarling, and the enourmous gobs of drool. 3

I don't wnat to watch the show. I was about too, but just changed my mind and watched GDW again The theme song's awesome, the chars are awesome, the voice actors are awesome,(apart from Hougen's) the scenery was awesome, the blood and gore was awesome...

And also, it's an animated film. You can't expect the dogs to look 100% realistic. Like in balto, Balto looked nothing like a real wolf or dog, or Jenna, definetely not Dixie, nor most of the huskies...

Oh well, I just hated the loud crying part. (Because I guess I have to deal with it everyday. x_X and screaming and..)

And well, I am going to watch the trailer and see if I see any drool and see what your talking about. xD

And for Balto, for a cartoon like that, he looked like a wolfdog. (For being a cartoon, and a wolfdog with eye brows/human eyes/and all that junk.)

But the wolves in Wolf's Rain were very good, and I love the music in Wolf's Rain. And the voices fit them all, too.
