Okay, I dont wanna sound wierd or anything but, Well I think that only animals that have been showed love and affection will have souls. I mean, farm animals they die a brutal death. Some say if you die a harsh death you well, "come back". If that was true we would have thousands of ghost cows everywhere!  Only animals that have been cared for dearly have souls. Or atleast what I think. After all plants are living things. Do they have souls? I dont think so. If a piece of grass got chopped up by a lawn mower, will it become ghost grass? Like I said, animals that have been showed some kind of love have souls because they have something to live for. other animals were just put on the earth for food.

Of course they have souls! They have feelings and are loving like us! So they have souls. How can you say that while looking at your beloved compagnon?

Mods--> I have this gut feeling that this topic will end up in long, detailed pages of arguments, thus creating a flame war. If you have the same feeling I do, please lock this topic. (I mean religious flame war.)

Emily--> Not to be harsh, but I think from the 5 pages of this topic, that the mods have already given this topic fair chance, and given it fair game to any member. But now, it's starting to lean towards the destructive side, and I'm a little concerned.

Dream----) Nah that's not harsh. I've read the comments and you are right they seem to be getting more religious and bible related. some people are having trouble holding their tongues as well. The mods should at least keep a very close eye on this one...
