I thought the ending was very abrupt and rushed. I was watching it thinking "Ok, so this isn't the original, but I'll keep watching it anyway" and then it just ended. It left me sitting there wondering what happens next? How does Balto get home? Did the wolves make it to the island? If a movie leaves that many questions at the end, it wasn't a good ending IMO.
My mom came into where Aleu was saying "I have to lead them" and swam to the ice floe. She said "How's she going to lead them? All's they're going to do is sit on the ice."  I totally agree.
Aleu: Bring out the sticks and caribou skin, we're making a sail!

And how Balto got home- wasn't that a beach? Like the one back home? Maybe the GREAT Water was actualy near Balto home... lol Let me see...
