Okay. Here's the thing. I have to admit, I went into reading this with a closed mind, as what I believe is against homosexuality in general. So yes, I'm probably going at this with a pretty biased opinion. The real reason I read it was out of curiosity. So many people have praised this fanfic-heck, it's number one on the most popular list right now-and so I wanted to read it out of curiosity. Yes, I saw the warning about gay content. Yes, I still read the fic anyway.
And...what can I say about it? The gay content, of course, was a huge turn off in my case. And the story in general...forgetting the homosexuality for a moment, the plotline was well thought out. But the actual story...I don't know. There was something I disliked a little about it. I mean, it was pretty well written, but frankly...here's the thing. Do I think it was a good fanfic? Yes, in a lot of ways. Do I think it really deserves the number one spot in the most popular list? Frankly, no.
Like I said before, I don't want to start a flame war-I'm just stating my opinion. If a flame war happens, I'll take responsibility for it. I just really felt like I needed to take a stand for what I believed here.
First off, I'm glad you liked it. And I respect your opinion, but I just want to point out that I wasn't really going for "greatest story ever" or anything of the like. Naturally, I was just making an opinion myself. I don't really believe in the "popular fanfic" thing as a "best fanfic" thing. By far, it seems that this fic is very popular, but it isn't necessarily popular for good reasons. There were many people who hated it, but had little reason to. Now, I do respect one's opinions, but only if they have good intentions. The people who hated my fic didn't like it because "i didn't write good" or "they didn't like the gay content" or that they "didn't like that I made Kodi gay." I don't find those as good reasons, I see them more as excuses for trying to make me angry (which doesn'twork, it really only irritates me to a point) So yes, just to make a point, I wasn't really aiming for it to be the best story. If I was, I surely would have made it longer  Thanks for your input nonetheless.

why oh why are there so many homophobes *sighs* so pointless...
Anyway I loved this story and I think its a really original pair and I am now getting so tired of Kodi/Dusty. I really love you stories 11/10! Make more!! 
Also have you made the story yet? I can't find it.
