yeah, not the best thing to say to the guy who helped spawn you.

The animation's only crappy because Universal didn't want to spend too much time and money on a DTV movie. It Balto II was planned to be put into theatres, Universal would have put more effort into it.

It's a sad truth; DTV movies are both inaccuate in animation terms and voices.

well, if you get mad enough at someone, the first words that come to your mind are most likely 'I hate you'. i say it to my sister all the time (and visa versa), it just comes natural when someone is really ticked off.

well, would you yell that at your parents? Your sister, that's fine cause she isn't your mother!

This isn't really true nowadays, in fact; Disney has proven with all its recent DTV sequels that they can do good animation, even with sequels like this. But they probably put higher budgets into them (which is something we can not expect from Universal, unfortunately : they won't even make a B4 with the same budget as the others...)

Yeah, forogt about Disney there. A great example of a quality animated DTV is Lion King 1 1/2

This is true, although I wish they would! In a sense I wish it was a Disney production although in many ways I'm still glad it's not. Disney seems to over merchandise their movies, with Balto Universal didn't seem to do enough merchandising.

No offence taken, I agree! I like the characters and all, but I'll bet Disney could have animated it 100 times better!

No disney would probably have destroyed some of the realism in the Balto drawing style and story line, it would turn even more into a kids movie instead of a family one, with sing-alongs every 5 minutes XD just joking there.

It's true that Disney probably would merge the 2D and 3D better, but you also made the point that Disney... has money. The Balto 2 budget was only a fraction of what they had to work with on the original, and B3 even less than that. I was particularly impressed with what they did with B3 considering...

Really? The budget for Balto 3 was lower than for Balto 2? DWK told you that? Well that's surprising then, I would have thought it was the opposite or at least the same budget.
