When it comes to anime and manga, I treat it as equal to any other story. I don't go, "OMG! It's anime and manga, so that means it's great/horrible!" Either it's interesting and well-done, or it isn't. My favorite animes and mangas are Fullmetal Alchemist(my fav for now), Wolf's Rain, the Ginga series, and the Miyazaki movies.

Ehhh. I thought so too for awhile.
Then I watched Kaleido Star and liked it WAY more than any other anime or manga if that because it actually has mostly real elemnts to it and sends good messages to all viewers. Fruits Basket does too but the whole zodiac changing thing is a bit corny now that I really think about it but Kyo rocks! XD Anime and Manga is just as addictive as Balto or anything else. Jus tbecause people talk about it and have pictures and shirts of it doesn't mean they are brainwashed. It means they are influenced and inspired and we all need to like something in this world. Anime and Manga has so many to chose from though that thats why its addicting!

It's sooooooo cool!!! My friend is gonna let me borrow volumes 3-4 from ehr, so I'm so happy!! ^^ yay!
You're really like my sis, I don't know why she loves it so much, Fullmetal Alchemist is better

I haven't watched or read any in a while but I do like it. Have enjoyed a few little snippets on youtube - whetting my apetite for a manga hunt - there isn't much in the UK - then again I may not be looking in the right places
