Loki blinked when Christy called out. He groaned, reluctant to stand up, but he didn't want the Alpha crossing over to his side of the woods and scare away his food and possibly chase him. The lone wolf stood up and peered over to see the blue-eyed female. "Hiya there, Alpha," he greeted but never moved from his spot.

"Who are you and what's your name?!And how do you know I am alpha?"Christy asked suspiciously.The rabbits quickly hopped deep into the burrow."Your a loner I suppose.And what's that on your neck?I'll take it off if you want to join my pack."Christy said.

Shasta howled his husky howl, which scared Loki in a way. Christy lunged and killed two of the hares. Leaving one left.

A bunch of questions came flying out of the Alpha's mouth all of a sudden, and this took Loki by surprise. He had no idea Christy could talk that fast! A grimace crossed the lone wolf's muzzle as he saw the three rabbits bound back into the burrows, startled by the female wolf's voice. When Christy finally stopped talking, Loki sighed and answered.
"I'm Loki," he started. "And I know you're Alpha of the Crystal Mountain Pack because I've been -let's say- paying some visits 'round the place from time to time." He smirked and walked a few paces into the clearing, getting a little closer to Christy, but not enough to unnerve her. "Yeah, I'm a loner, but I'm not interested in joining a pack." He pointed to his collar. "This old thing? It's a tracking collar those scientists put on me before letting me return to the wild; it won't come off unless you've got fingers, Alpha, so it's no use in tryin'."
Before the lone wolf had time to about-face and run off deeper into the woods, a sudden howl ripped through the air. The sudden sound shattering the calm air around him and Alpha Christy started the wolf, but he regained his composure when he realized that the howl wasn't...all wolf.

"Finally," Phoenix muttered when he came across his Alpha, who he hadn't known left, and the lone wolf who's scent he had picked up on. Like he guessed, the other wolf was a male, and larger than both Christy and Pheonix.
The wolf felt his hackles rise slighlt as he watched his Alpha and the loner talk from the shadows. 'If he makes a move at her,' Pheonix growled in his mind, but his thoughts were inturppted when he heard Shasta's howl crack the air. Pheonix's ears shot up and rotated back to the sound of where Shasta was, but his eyes stayed glued to Christy and the lone wolf.

"I doubt it," Loki huffed under his breath. This Alpha was wasting his time now; Loki was hungry and ready to eat. It was time for him to go. Once again, the wolf was about to turn and head off, but his ears caught the sound of another wolf approaching. "Oh. Not another one!" he groaned and put a paws over his eyes, furrowing his brow,
When he removed his paw, Loki saw the other wolf standing there beside her sister. Ah, h knew her, but was still unfamiliar with her name; it was close to her sister's name, but Loki still had trouble remembering it since he had not seen her around the pack often.

"Christa,This is Loki."Christy said.Christa titled her head to the side a bit.Christy walked over to Loki and bit the collar on his neck.Christy tugged on it breaking it off."Loki,We have enough food in our pack.The hunters have moved out of our hunting grounds.For good."Christy said.Christa and Christy started walked away."You coming?"Christa asked smiling a bit.

Loki gasped when he felt the familiar tightness around his neck suddenly leave. A sharp crack was heard as the tracking collar was ripped off by Christy, and the lone male's mouth gaped open as he stared down at the broken device. It had been five years since that thing was clamped onto his neck; five years and now he was free.
"T...thanks," he said, looking up at Christy. "And thanks for the offer, but my answer's no. I'm better off living on my own. Have been for a while now."

Phoenix blinked at the three wolves. No way. Christy had just pulled that thing off of that loner's neck. "Now that I think about it...that wolf doesn't seem like much of a threat to our pack anyway." Phoenix stood and headed back to the pack grounds. He was reluctant to leave the Alpha and her sister alone with the newcomer, but he was sure they'd be able to take care of themselves.

"What's going on out there?" Kamui asked Pheonix once he had returned.

"Alpha Christy and her sister have found a lone wolf out int he woods, near the rabbit feeding grounds." Phoenix sat and scratched at the back of his left elbow, his claws brushing against the hard scab that had formed there long ago. "I heard her talking about letting him join, too, but..." He stopped scratching and growled. "I don't think that's such a good idea. He doesn't look as if he could cause harm to the pack, but he is still a lone wolf; he's untrustworthy in my eyes."

Aurora, a female wolf in Christy's pack, ran and tore through the bush. She pinned the wolf called "Loki". She snarled in his face as she spoke her Scottish voice. "What are you going here, laddie?" she looked into his eyes. "There here's OUR hare hunting grounds!" Aurora bared her fangs.

'As if this day couldn't get any worse!' Loki's mind screamed when he saw yet another of the Crystal Mountain Pack's wolves race toward him. He attempted to get out the way before she could barrel into him, but, just this luck, Loki wasn't fast enough and the female crashed into his side and pinned him down by his ribs. 'Wait...how does she know my name anyway?'
He let out what sounded like an out of breath "woof" and coughed. The female -who was she again? He quickly went through the mental file his brain kept of the pack's wolves- leaned down to snarl in his face, reminding him that those hares belonged to their pack's hunting grounds.
"I-I'm sorry!" he yelped, wishing his voice wouldn't crack. Though it would be a humongous blow to his humongous ego, Loki pinned his ears flat against his skull and tucked his tail close to his body the best he could. Refusing to look the more dominate wolf in the eyes, Loki added, "I had no idea these grounds were yours. I swear."

Aurora pulled her ears back to the normal position. She stepped off him but left her eyes on him. "Sorry now,, laddie." her lips covered her pearl white fangs as she stared at the wolf she STILL thought had taken the hare. Another source of the packs food.

Interested in the fact that a supposed lone wolf was now in their territory, Kamui left Subaaru under Ghost's care for the moment and decided to go check out the scene, soon arriving at the hare hunting grounds where his alpha Christy and a few more of his pack members were gather around, with the loner called Loki.
