Channing chuckled as she tried and tried to get to the apple and failed each time. Though they didn't speak a word he could tell exactly what she was saying based off of her body language. A bit unsure and nervous. When she crashed into him he caught her, dropping the apple in the soft grass. Surprisingly it didn't bruise. As Anna slowly lifted her head up Channing caught her eyes and blinked his own hazel eyes. This girl was prettier up close. Time seemed to freeze in place as Channing slowly leaned down towards her face, unsure of what he was actually doing. He could feel his heart beat slow down drasctically. Oh God, I've had a heart attack standing here with here. He thought, trying to stop focusing so much on Anna. Just as he was about to kiss her one of his men came running through the forest on his horse, "Channing! Knights from the Southern Kingdom have came to the camp, they had came and found the documents in your office and took them. Should we kill them?" The man said, Channing letting Anna go and cursing under his breath. "Yes! Find them and drop them where they stand, at all costs retrieve those documents." Channing ordered, calling Vixen over. The man nodded and took off again. Channing looked back at Anna once again, "I'm leaving you at the camp." He said, finally Vixen came to his side once again.

Anna had blinked twice and shut her eyes just before Channing leaned forward, ready for his lips to meet hers. Just as she could feel his breath mingling with hers one of the men from the camp ran to them and interrupted. She gasped, surprised at his sudden appearance. No! She thought angrily. This was supposed to be me and Channing's moment together! What happened to my fairy tale!? She thought, soon becoming saddened and down again. Anna watched the two men talking and gasped at what Channing had told him what to do with her knights. She hoped that it wasn't her friend Eugene, a man with whom she had grown up with. "Surely we don't have to kill them..." She said to Channing, only to have him continue talking. She folded her arms tightly when she was told that she was going to be left at the camp again. "No!" She exclaimed. "I refuse to spend anymore time in that lonely old cell and waste precious time!" She argued, glaring at him.

Channing glared back at her, "Anna do not argue with me." He ordered, grabbing Vixen's reigns. He held out his hand for the stubborn princess, "Fine then I'll give you a room when we get back to the camp okay?! Come now, we have to get back." He said, waiting impatiently for her. Vixen tossed his mane and whinnied impatiently as well, pawing the ground anxious to get running again. To feel the wind through his mane was the closest thing to heaven for that horse. Channing eyed Anna and the way she had acted. She wanted to kiss me. He thought. She'd only known me for the day and already she was trying to kiss me in return? His thoughts were causing him to get distracted. He shook his head and reached for her hand, so he could pull her upon his steed and they could be on their way.

Anna took a step back as he reached for her and made a run for it. Her long slender legs carried her far and quickly as she ran through the dense brushes. All the while she screamed and made as much noise as she could. "Help! Help me! I'm the princess! Please somebody help me! I've been kidnapped!" She screamed. Anna ran till her lungs began to hurt, keeping a hasty yet steady pace through the trees. Leaves stuck to her feet and ankles and rocks hurt her, but she continued to run. Trees were getting closer and closer together and the path was getting more and more narrow and bushes were showing up more. Ahead of her was a fallen tree with a huge stump, she was sure that she couldn't get over it and certain that she had no time to go around it. Anna grabbed the side of the tree and started to try and climb, her feet hurting worse as she tried to grip the rough bark.

"Anna!" Channing exclaimed as he swung onto Vixen's back and kicked him into a run. He was going to catch this girl and give her what for when he did. Part of him was hurt for trusting her and the other part was furious that should could run off like that. In little to no time he found Anna and jumped from Vixen's back, running up behind her and grabbing her by the waist. He slung her over his shoulder as he carried her back to Vixen. It was obvious in Channing's demeanor that he was aggravated and highly angry by her actions, so he remained quiet. A scary type of silence. Meanwhile his men had caught up with the knights and put an end to their life, in the process they lost a man and another was seriously injured. They needed Channing and he knew it. I have got to get back to them. He thought, pulling Vixen onto the trail so he could get on him easier.

Anna struggled and tried her best to fight against him, tears streaming from her eyes as she pounded weakly against his back with balled fists. "I just want to go home, please just let me go home!" She screamed, still trying to fight against him. When they got back to Vixen she could tell that he wasn't in the mood for arguing and that it was best just to keep quiet and stop talking. I can't believe I tried to run from him, then I hit him! I'm never going home. She thought sadly, looking around to see if there was any witnesses. None. Anna cried a bit harder as she mounted Vixen by herself, not daring to make a move until Channing was on the steed with her. What was the point of trying to escape? She'd only fail and anger Channing even more.

Channing ignored her pleads and mounted Vixen, grabbing his reigns and kicking his sides. They bursted into a hasty run as Vixen's back legs propelled them all forward. Channing was used to it. The more he thought about how Anna tried to escape the angrier and sadder he got. He sat on Vixen's back as stiff as a board, not saying a single word. It took him a few minutes to get back to camp but when he did, the men were happy to see him. Channing pulled the horse to a stop and a few men came over, "Take her to her cell." He ordered coldly, waiting till they pulled her off the horse. When Anna was finally off, Channing dismounted as well, riding over and untacking Vixen. The other man placed him in the stable. It was nearly nightfall and some lanterns around all the doors had been lit. The dim lighting provided everyone with the ability to see the exit ways at night.

Anna sighed as she didn't feel Channing's arm around her again. She knew he was mad. Just as she was about to turn and say something they arrived to the camp where the men took her off of Vixen's back. She put up no fight as they lead her back to her cold cell and locked the door. She turned, placing a hand on the cold iron bars and sighing. Inside, everyone was moving around bringing different supplies and different things to a room in the back. A medicine room for healing the wounded. As she backed away from the door a man was carried toward the back room, blood pumping from his chest and arms. Anna put her hand over her mouth as she gasped. He didn't look too good. I messed everything up with Channing and now I'll never get to have that moment with him again, it's all my fault. My stupid fault! She thought angrily at her self. She hoped Channing would walk by again so she could apologize to him. Somehow it felt right.

Channing followed in a bit after the men carried an injured being to the back room, not making any eye contact with Anna as he passed. He had nothing to say to her at all and that was the end of the story. As he entered the room the man hurried and grabbed Channing's hand and squeezed, "I don't want to die Channing. I don't want to die." He said, coughing up blood. "Write a letter to my wife. Please." He said, his voice tensing as he choked. Channing nodded and sighed, watching his friend as he took his final breath and finally stopped moving. Channing hung his head and said a few words over his body before standing. "Burry him, on the hill." He ordered, looking amongst his men. "And bring me back my documents." He said before leaving the room. He went straight to his office and sat at his desk, putting his head in his hands and sighing again. What a terrible day it has been. Channing thought about what he had told Anna in the forest, about letting her have one of the spare rooms in his office. Perhaps one upstairs so that she couldn't get away so easily, and there would be two of his trusted men upon the second floor with her. Yes, that was the place. Besides, he could lock the door from the outside and she wouldn't be able to get out, and the window was only big enough to fit her head, but nothing else. It was ideal.

Anna heard Channing trurn and head to his office, she sighed. "Channing. Channing please." She called, looking at the wooden door. She wanted to see him again and be in his arms once more. But more than anything she wanted to kiss him and make everything better again. One of the guards walked past the cell and Anna grabbed him, pulling him close and whispering something in his ear. The guard nodded and quietly opened the cell, letting Anna out. She thanked him and walked quietly to Channing's office, entering without being invited inside. All at once her emotions and thoughts all poured into her mouth as she began to speak. "Channing please I'm so sorry, please don't be angry with me any longer. I cannot explain to you the pain of not seeing your smile. Please Channing forgive me, I will not try to run again just please tell me that your not mad anymore." She begged pathetically, her voice cracking. Anna walked over to him and stared at him, waiting to catch his eyes.

Channing looked up from his hands and caught her eyes. The taller rose from his chair and walked around the desk, "You say you want me to forgive you, well prove it. Prove to me just how much you actually are sorry and if you cannot do it than you're not forgiven by any means." He said and grunted, eyeing her to see her reaction. Just kiss her you idiot and put the girl at ease! He thought, considering it for a moment. Channing took one step closer and was a few inches from her, still gazing into her once warm and loving eyes. That was the feature he liked most about her. Her eyes. They were always the things that stuck out to most and caught his attention almost immediately. He loved looked down into the brown and green of them and studying them. But he loved her face even more than her eyes. Wondering why it took him this long, to get this mad, to finally realize how much he did actually find appealing on this girl. The room was quiet and very calm, since Channing decided not to get too angry with her. He didn't want to do something he would regret.

Anna gasped quietly when he told her this, causing her to cry even more. She lowered herself to the floor and got to her hands and knees in her dress. From there she began begging him. "Channing please forgive me. I truly am sorry for everything I went and put you through. Please! I'd give up my thrown as Princess just to make you happy again Channing, please don't be mad with me." Anna was unaware that she had actually just said that she would give up her thrown. Of course though part of her meant the words she spoke. Anna looked up at him and cried a bit more, wrapping her arms around one of his legs and crying into his pant leg. She looked pathetic as she sat there and could only cry. Just then Anna's tiara began to slip from her hair, falling on the wooden floor. "I'll give up anything you want me too Channing please just be happy again. I can't stand this tension and anger between us." She said, finally tears stopped flowing. She sat back and looked at him, still a deep sadness written across her face and deep in her eyes. She still honestly didn't know why she was apologizing for trying to save herself from the fate of these cruel men. But if that's what it took to get Channing back on her good side, she would do anything.

Channing watched as the once proud princess shrank to her knees like a peasant, begging for forgivness. He couldn't stand to see her like that. He waited till she was completely done talking to kneel down in front of her and guide her head to his with his hand. Channing kissed her, a long passionate kiss. He could feel sparks flying as excitement filled him. He knew that he was in way too deep and that there would be a severe punishment for this. The first rule he was given was to not mix business with love. He had a flashback, the Commander standing in his way just before Channing could reach the door. "Now Channing, I'm trusting you to do this huge task for me. So I expect everything to go perfectly. Just remember, business and love cannot mingle." He said, Channing laughing at him. "Love? Are you kidding me? I'd sooner drop the wench in a jail cell and leave her to rot than love her." Both men laughed. How wrong he had been made Channing slightly upset.

Anna's heart leapt with joy and love as their lips met. She kissed him in return, wrapping her small arms around his neck and moving in a bit closer. She had no other thoughts in the world than whether or not she should take control or if she should let Channing. Just as she pulled Channing a bit closer the door swung open once again, it was the same guard that had let Anna out of her cell. Anna jumped and fell backwards, landing on her bum. She winced, the guard ignoring her and speaking directly to Channing. "Sir, here is your documents." He said, handing them to Channing and then taking a step back. They were all folded neatly together were on soft white paper. The writing was Channing's. The guard looked down at Anna and took her by the arm, standing her up to take her back to the cell. "Alright now miss, time to go back to your cell." He said sternly, Anna pulling against him for a quick second. She wanted to stay with Channing for the night but knew it wasn't possible. She turned once more and looked at Channing, "Wait." She said quietly, trying to pull her arm free of his grasp. With her other hand she reached for Channing, trying to get a grasp on him before she got to her cell again. The guard yanked her a bit harder, "Come now lassy!" He ordered, Anna refusing still.

Channing looked at Anna and then at the guard as he came into the room and handed off the documents. Channing cleared his throat and nodded, rising to his feet. "Thank you." He said, turning his back to them as he opened the drawer to the mahogany desk and placed the papers inside before shutting it again. When Channing turned back around he leaned against his desk, watching as the guard was leading Anna out. He simply watched for a few more moments as Anna struggled against his friend and tried to return to him. At first he wasn't planning on saying anything, to just go upstairs and call it a night, but then something over came him and he stopped the guard "Leave her be." He said, standing straight again and taking her by the hand. "I'll escort her to her new room." He said, putting his hand around Anna's waist as he pulled her beside him. The guard nodded and left the two alone. "Now, are you ready for your new room?" He asked her, nearing the door.
