The stranger smiled smugly. "Nice try," he said. "Den, withdraw, now!" Wartortle retreated into his shell. Quilava's attack hit square in the middle of Den's shell, doing minimal damage.

"Wil-o-Wisp," he commanded. "Right in the hollow where his head is." The Quilava shot a blue-white flame at the Blastoise's head.

The attack hit Den right in the forehead. In retaliation, shot Water Gun at Quilava.

The quilava rolled out of the way, but was clipped. "Recover, right now. Use Flame Wheel."

"Take it and use water gun!" The wartortle took the hit, staying steady on its feet. Immediatly after it shot rocket fast water at Quilava.

The quilava was hit. "Get up." Silver snapped. The pokemon complied. "Wil-o-wisp again."

I cant believe that that Quilava is still standing, the stranger thought. "Okay, water gun, again," he said. Quilava's attack hit Den.

"Dodge!" Silver snapped. Quilava managed, though barely. It was clear now the creature wasn't wanting to fight - it was really quite tired - but also clearly had no inclination to disobey its trainer. "Now, use flame wheel!"

"Block it with water!" The stranger grinned, knowing the fight would be his (or at least against that pokemon- he wouldnt tet too ahead of himself)

"Flame wheel, again," Silver snapped, glaring at the quilava as it blasted flame again. It was slowly becoming more and more feeble.

(Eh, either way.)

The stranger groaned inwardly. "Again, water gun," he instructed Den. The pokemon chortled and shot water at Quilava's weak attempt at an attack. Only a few whisps of flame were left on either side of he attack, grazing the edges of Den's shell. He gets way too much enjoyment out of this, the stranger though, looking at the turtle's satisfied expression.

"Rollout," Silver demanded. He stood, looking very uninterested in Quilava's actual condition.

This is getting old. "tackle!" The stranger commanded.

The quilava was hit and went down. Silver snorted, withdrawing the pokemon. "Whatever... weak piece of junk," he mumbled.

"Got anymore?" The stranger asked. "I would say that Den could use the practice, but against your pokemon it's just tedious." The stranger crossed his arms across his chest.
