The petition is a great idea, and I hope it will work. I'm spreading the word all over my place, and have buttons on my site too.

Forget about them. The world isn't perfect (sadly). We can't loose anything by the petition, we can only gain something. Some people don't understand that trying might work- something can always happen. So lets use our chance.

Yes, I regret having saying that; I suppose it was the angryness that made me do that, since I for myself haven't decided yet if I'll continue to post there now. Not that I don't want to, but I fear people will not have the same opinion now...
I must say that I'm already tired of that war. I think I've given my opinion clearly, and I have nothing to add to that. Now, I want to go on with the site, and that's all.

I was going to post something last night when I got home, but since I had stayed up until 2 am the previous night I didn't want to chance saying anything incredibly dumb. *coughwhichIprobablyalreadydoanyways*

Personally I wouldn't have minded them stating their opinions, if they had left it at just that. Instead they unwisely decided to attack both Steet and anyone who agrees with him (or as they called us "followers") with a passion. They were totally wrong for doing that and I have little respect for them for what they did. Just because they are mods doesn't mean they have a right to break the boards rules or to start fights and belittle other members because their opinions differ from the mods own opinions.

I think I'm done now.

I felt the same way. They should have stuck to their opinions, but they didn't. The first one responsible is Vesta, and since she is Acanis' mate, it seems he just followed her, without asking any questions. As I said, I would have taken any opinion in the petition account, but they didn't say anything at that time. And someone who doesn't say anything is someone who agrees, to me. Too bad it wasn't the case.

I would like to start off with this anyone who thinks they can do a better job than Steet than post a reply saying you are better than him. I know I'll stay quiet.

Steet I very much look up to you know because If I had people saying that stuff in that severity I would have cracked with in a day. But you held your head high and didnt get realy mad and pissed, I like to think I wouldnt crack but In time I would. They shouldnt be mad at anyone because we Hope this pettion will work if they think It'll fail that thats all they have to say other than coming out and Attacking every one make me wonder why they joined. I dont like to be mean to people I dont know and I even hate being mean to people I dont like. But sometimes I beleve that when you know what your getting into than you should receve the penilty. But I just want to say keep up the good work and they'll come to there sences soon, or if not than it's ok.

Steet, I'm going to join the icy board and make a post about that little dipute. I just want to let you know that it is not aimed at you, but at the same time I will not take sides. I hope you understand. I feel that someone needs to make a comment about that quarllel on that board.

Edit: I'm not going to make the post right away, first I want to get settled in. While I have some issues with them I still would like to accualy be a member.

Yes, I did say that they should resist at looking at the screenshots, but it was an advice, because his screenshots were really spoilerish. And I did say exactly the same on TIB. I don't see what's wrong with that. I did not dismise his site or anything...far from that. I would have done the same with any site. I would have never posted spoilerish screenshots like that on my site, and moreover without even a warning on the topic. But it shows again that they have no respect for the newcomers, and it's logical since they never cared about the sequels - but never got to understand that most true Balto fans did care.

Too bad that Acanis deleted a part of his livejournal, where Vesta did say insults to me on my back. While I never said anything bad on her before. And they say I am the one who is disrepectful to the others...
If I have something against someone, I do not say bad things about him behind him. I always say what I think of people in front of them, even if it can hurt. I am not an hypocrite as they are by not saying the truth to me, during all this time (nearly one year!) Yes, I would have prefered that they would say what was disturbing them, while it was still possible to repair our relations.

Oh, BTW, the excuse of "You never asked me to link to your site" is wrong, because I did. I sent one email to every Balto webmasters at that time (which I think is absolutely normal when you have a website...), and I never got any reply from them. And moreover, I did tell about my site on my first post on TIB, which I know now was an error, since they stuck me into one category since the very start.
I know what their problem is : in their little group, they've become such friends that they blindly defend the other members in their group, not even asking themselves if they are right to do so or not. Why do you think they never asked any other people to be a mod on their forums? Do you think Vesta deserve to be one, with all the insults she has shouted, not only at me but on many other posts, or on the Balto league chats? Pfff....Loop was right, when he warned me that he couldn't bare the moderators, that they had no respect for his opinion.

They showed they could have no respects to the others, I don't see why I would have some for them now. I apologized to them, but they never did. Don't expect me to apologize to them again.

There's a huge difference between saying our opinion, and attacking someone. Even Silver Huskey did not say anything about the personal attacks I've been victim, because she only want to defend her little very friends. Then, when they will see that they will get alone with their little group of old "Balto hardcore fans of the original who don't care about the other's opinions and even forgot why they are fans of it", maybe they will understand what I mean.

EDIT : I'm curious about one thing Vesta said though, she said that a trailer for the original Balto is on the Balto 3 DVD. Is it true? In any case, there's no Balto trailer on the non-US DVD.

I think its best to just stay out of the fight because you won't win, I have nothing against Ac or Vesta but thier both thick headed, so why beat a dead horse?

I don't think it's a good idea either. I don't think they will ban me nevertheless, because if I get banned, it will make bad advertisement for their forums, and many people may left their forums (which I think will happen in the end if they continue to be like that, I'm not the first one who had problems with them)
And to think I wished "happy birthday" to Acanis last month...He answered me in a glance. I thought they were too busy to reply my emails, didn't they say that? How hypocritical. They have all the time they want to reply to Acanis' livejournal, when he posts his entire life here... "I have a new toy!" Yeah sure, it's more important than helping for a petition on a film you're supposed to be fan...
I would have never thought they could be like that. They've really shown their true self. They also have no pity for the ones who don't follow their little rules and opinions.

On another point, since the topic is on the petition, I'm glad to see there are constant new signatures every day, while I'm not making anymore efforts to promote it...and especially after what happened.

They sound sort of stuck-up.
