Okay--so Steele as an antagonist is out. Hiw about a himan antagonist? Didn't the real Balto get stuck in a circus? It could be a circus manager that wants Balto in his circus show.

Not a circus, but a side show attraction. He was anything but treated well. He and his remaining team mates.

It was referred to as a "dime-a-look" museum. You paid that fee, and got in. There, in varying displays throughout the "museum", oddities and curiosities would be put on display. It was usually a mish-mosh of disturbing or surreal stuff. As in the case of old-fashioned circus side shows, as Mighty inferred.

By the 1920s, they were already old hat and on their way out.

Well,I kinda have several ideas...

1.Just a general series about Balto's adventures after Wings of Change,with several plots concerning Aleu's pack,Kodi's job,or any other plots.

2.(This one I'm leaning more towards)A series that's more about Nikki,Kaltag,and Star,rather than Balto.And it would be sort of anthro,with the dogs using paws like hands,using TV and computers,going to school and work,playing golf,etc.)

3.More of a Balto parody.A red-rendered version of Balto,named Dog,comes to live in Nome and stays in Balto's boat,pranking Boris,joining Kaltag in the bonking of Star,and doing other crazy things.He also likes Jenna,and is jealous of Balto.He(Dog)eventually becomes evil,and joins Niju to fight Balto.

4.A series that concerns Balto's four other pups,the gentle Saba,the playful Dingo,the lazy Luke,and the friendly Jasmine.Each episode focuses on a couple of the pups(for instance,in one episode,Saba enters a dog show,while Dingo competes in a dogsled race.)

I know my ideas aren't that good,but my mind is kind of,uh...rusty and clouded right now.I don't think a prequel would work for a series.A prequel would be better as a movie,so it could be all put in one timeslot.A prequel series would be too confusing.Of course,that's just my opinion.

Not nearly as confusing as your far fetched ideas for a Balto series that has absolutely nothing to do with Balto. Your "ideas" on the other topic are exactly the same as this and makes me glad you aren't a decision-maker in any of this.

How exactly would a prequel be confusing, when you have a new opportunity to introduce old characters to a new audience and re-acquaint them with an old audience? You make absolutely no sense.

What I mean by confusing is that a prequel would be better off as a movie because if different events from Balto's past were each put in an episode,people may not be able to follow the plot of his entire past if they didn't watch the episodes in order.If the prequel was a movie,then people could just sit down and watch his entire past in order,and not need to piece together the different episodes.

Okay,maybe what I said didn't make any sense after all.Sometimes I write before I think.I just got my account today and I was really excited,so I didn't really think about my posts.

Just please don't insult me.I am a big fan of your work,and I like your fan characters.From now on,I'll try to make more sense in my posts,as long as there are no more hard feelings.

And maybe some of my ideas were a little distant from the actual concept of Balto,such as the one about the red dog wanting to get revenge on Balto.I just was thinking more in terms of a comical,kid-viewed cartoon than a serious cartoon.I'll try to think up better ideas.

Oh,and also,I went back and read your post about making a prequel series,and you actually had a pretty good idea.Sorry if I offended you by saying a prequel series would be confusing.Like I said,sometimes I write before I think.
I just think it would be better for a fourth movie to be a prequel than a series to be a prequel.I don't think a prequel would be confusing,I think a prequel series would be confusing.But,since Universal isn't going to make a Balto 4,maybe you do have a good idea. Sorry for what I said about a prequel being confusing,but that's not what I meant.

JC isn't a mod. And even if he was, you don't ask him such random questions in a topic. You'd PM him and ask. But as he's not a moderator, you should find an actual mod and ask them.
