Max kept a steady pace, knowing that he was going easy on her, but then again she too was a good hockey player, she was getting into her groove now and sped up considerably, speeding ahead and around the rink. The people just skating had stopped to watch them. She went into a tuck to go even faster.

Campbell smiled and kept up with her pace, catching up when she was tucking down. He smiled and kept skating as he made a sharp turn to avoid hitting the wall, hearing and seeing ice fly from under his blade as he kept moving.

Max grinned and skidded to a stop at the other end of the rink as she flew around the corner, sending ice flying but coming to a complete stop in a few seconds right in front of the wall.

Campbell slowly skated to her happily and he said "Done already?" He cocked his head and leaned against the wall.

"Eh, got bored." she said with a shrug. It was half true. Honestly she just wanted to talk to him but she'd never admit to that one.

Max shrugged, "Skate and talk?" she said, more of an order than a question, but it was still asked as a question.

Campbell chuckled at her demanding. "Of course my dear maiden, whatever you wish, is my command." He joked around with her before grabbing her hand and kissing it like a prince would to a princess.

Max grinned, enjoying the reference. "Alright then my prince, let's skate." she said, offering him her arm like they often did on movies.

Campbell chuckled but nodded "No" before swooping down to her hand and holding it softly and gently into his, saying "I think it will be more nice if we held hands, that way if you fall, I will catch you rather than drag you." He smirked and knew that was just an excuse to hold her hand, although it was true in a way.

Max shrugged, "I wasn't planning on falling but OK." she said, secretly pleased he wanted to hold her hand.

Campbell chuckled as his cheeks turned a light pink, lightly blushing. He started to skate as the lights slowly turned off and lights flashed lightly, only enough to see what was around them. A slow song played and Campbell laughed.

Get a partner and start to dance on the ice.

The dj said. Campbell turned to her and smiled happily, wondering if she would like to dance or not.

Max paused, slightly unsure. "Just a fair warning, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to dancing." she said with a quirky smile.

Campbell chuckled and admitted to her as well "Truth is, I don't know how to dance either. How about we try though, yeah?" He smiled before taking her other hand and spinning her before pulling her close as he skated.

Max smiled, "Yeah." she said softly, already falling under his spell. He was a nice guy that was for sure.
