"Oof!" The chow chow fell onto the sidewalk and looked at Tack with a frown. "What was that for?"

"trying to get the girl to notice you" he said

"Maybe I don't want her to notice me", he thought, standing up.

"oh dont tell me wittle brucey is nervous" tack said in a teasing voice whilst patting his head

"I'm NOT scared," Bruce spat.

"fine then go speak to her or forever be a scaredy CAT" he provoked

"Fine!" Bruce trotted across the street to the house's fence. He looked back to Tack and Cross then turned back to the fence.

"go on you big cat" he shouted

Bruce swallowed and said, "Uh...hey...E-escuse me!"
The three girls stopped playing and turned their attention to Bruce.

"so cross do you have a crush on bruce then"

Cross blushed bright red. "How did he know?" she thought to herself.
"...N-no," she answered.

"lie your head over heels for em"

Cross stayed quiet and drew little imaginary doodles on the sidewalk.

"I would...um...like to t-talk to one of you..." Bruce trailed off, feeling a blush form on his cheeks.

"oh what are ya drawing" he said loking at the dirt

"Nothing," she answered while her paw was still making circles.

"Yeah?" the white collared puppy bark.
"Um...Um," Bruce was at a lost for words. D-Did she just speak to me?, he thought gleefully to himself. "Well, you see, I-I'm kinda lost and I wonder if any of you young ladies know where the entrance to this neighborhood is at," he lied, his accent thicker than usual.
