ooc//~ Sorry, Pals!! I'll try and get better at being more active, promise!

bic//~ Dev let out a muffled grunt as he was pulled into the van by the chain effect. As he gathered his surroundings, he realized that he had practically landed on top of Sophie, and was basically crushing her under his muscular upper body. He shifted his body over so she was free, but wasn't able to move much seeing as he didn't have very much room. "Sorry Soph," he muttered as he turned his face away from her, trying to take in what was going on. This is how people die.. he thought morbidly and let out a sigh. "Hey," Dev said, somewhat loudly, and lightly punched the drivers arm. "Where the hell are you taking us?" he demanded, stretching is arm across the back of the seat so it was around Sophie.

Ooc:// Yay! Hype's back!

Bic:// Sophie nodded in understanding as Griffin explained what had him so depressed. "What happened between the two of you?" she asked hesitantly, not wanting to pry, especially considering their current situation, but the only interaction she saw between the two of them was a swift slap across Griffin's face and a frustrated Nessa storming from the room and she was curious. Her attention, however, was less than full as part of her mind was completely flustered about Dev's arm around her and another part was listening in intently to what the driver would reply.




Nessa continued to follow the black car, barely able to keep up, but doing her best to stay a few feet from the back of the van and not crashing into a mailbox, or a building for that matter.

Bic://Griffen smirked a little as he though of what happened between he and Ness. "Um, I..I p***ed her off, let's just there was a kiss.." he explained looking up when there was movement from the front seat.
"Listen, you kids'll be just fine. We're not wanting to hurt you. I formally apologize right now for our actions." The african american man stated as he came back into the area where the teens sat. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm John Baxter. And You kids are very important, but you need the help of my coliges and I to understand how important. I'll tell you more, just as soon as we get where we're going. Understand?"

Dev was slightly aware of the conversation going on between Griffin and Sophie but not enough to understand the situation that they were talking about. Instead, he focused his attention on John Baxter. His glare became more intense as John continued to speak. By the time he was done, Dev's forehead was wrinkled, and his icy blue eyes flared with anger. "And where exactly are you taking us?" he growled, tensing his muscles as he debated making his next move.

ooc//~ Just to add another bit of drama..maybe Nessa and Devvy could have been good friends when they were really little but don't really recognize each other till now? That could add some jealousy for both Sophie and Griffin!

Sophie's eyes went wide when Griffin mentioned a kiss, but her thoughts were rudely disrupted when the large, dark man entered the back of the van and tried to calm their fears. In the camped space, though, his hulking presence only everyone's personal space to be lessened by another couple of inches. Out of fear and simply running out of room, Sophie leaned in closer to Dev, and she unconsciously created a weak shield-like wall between the boys on either side of her and the man in front of them.

"We can't reveal where you're going my young friends. But you gotta just trust us. We're agents." He assured, showing the teens his page. It was gold, and rimmed in sterling silver. According to the badge, he was some kind of FBI agent.

Dev threw up his free hand in frustration. He hated secrecy which was somewhat redundant because he kept secrets from people all the time. "Whatever," he mumbled, as his attention flickered for a moment to Sophie, who seemed to be cuddling up to his side. He narrowed his eyes for a second as he fought the smirk playing on his lips. The slight distraction was forced out of his mind almost instantly as he wondered Why us? Why are we the only ones they took? He couldn't take it, he glared at John and said "at least tell us how long it takes to get there," before sitting back in his seat, and setting his glaring blue eyes at the strange man.

Ooc:// Sorry for the wait. I've been super busy with school (and the semester just started ) Also, sorry this is a crappy post. It's been a long day, haha, but I will try to at least post once a day now that I am adjusting to my busy schedule.

Bic:// Sophie was too frightened to do much more than to nod in agreement to Dev and stare at John Baxter with large teal eyes. She could tell Dev was getting frustrated and Griffin seemed too upset about Nessa to pay much attention to the danger they were in. "Will we get there soon?" she asked in a squeaky, high-pitched voice, revealing even more how shaken up she was. She hoped that rephrasing Dev's question in a nicer way would help them stay on the large man's good side. Despite his badge, which meant he was police, she still didn't trust them without any explanation as to why they were beng taken and where they were being taken in the first place.

Ooc:// its okay Rose, I've been kind of busy too xD

Bic:// John turned to the teens and checked his watch "Just a few more minutes, think you three can wait that long?" He asked.

Griff slumped down in the seat and sighed, then nodded slowly.

ooc//~ No problem Rose! Glad to have you back!

Dev's frustration was muted for a moment when Sophie spoke up. He noticed her high pitched tone and realized how scared she probably was. How scary must it be for her? He tightened his grip around her shoulders and pulled her a little closer to him. He looked over at Griffin, noticing his intense mood, completely unaware that he was fuming about Dev's long-time-best-friend. His head whipped forward as John spoke up again. "No we can't wait that long!" he snarled in anger as his eyebrows knit together.

Ooc:// Okay, I am making a new goal to just be able to post one or twice a week on the weekends. I am so so sorry about my inactivity, but college this semester is a lot busier than it was last semester. But I promise to keep responding even it does take a little while... Thanks for putting up with me! haha

Bic:// Sophie blushed a deep red as Dev's pulled her even closer to him, but she quickly shook out all the flustered thoughts buzzing through her head to concentrate on what was really important. While having her crush's arm around her was something she had been waiting for for months, she had to keep reminding herself that their lives may be endanger. Tentatively, she reached out her hand and placed it on Dev's knee, barely brushing his jeans with fingers. "Dev, it'll be okay," she said quietly, knowing that her words be heard in the tight space no matter how low she spoke, but wanted to try to keep the moment private anyways.

Ooc:// It's okay Rose, I know what it's like when school gets crazy!

A little while later the van door opened and John returned to the teens. "Alright, welcome to Section 13." He said as he opened the doors for the three. They where now in some kind of high-tech building. It was a parking garage of some sort, but even here, various vehicles-way ahead of their technological time-drove past, and men and women dressed like John and his friends walked to and fro.

Dev froze, and his anger seemed to melt as he felt Sophie's touch on his leg. An wave of guilty immediately washed over him as he realized he had probably been scaring her to death this whole entire time. "Ok," he whispered as he tried to relax, pulling her closer to ease any fears that she had. However, his attention snapped back to focus as soon as the van door opened. He tried to gather in all the sights, and information at once, but there wasn't much to go off of in their location. Section 13? he thought, what does that even mean? He couldn't help but stare at all the fancy cars that were also parked here, wondering what their purpose was. He made an escape plan in his head about stealing one of the cars and he slowly stepped out of the van, holding out his hand to help Sophie out as well.
