Rosie jumped, hair standing on edge before she remembered, right, Aussie was on her back. She calmed down. "sorry 'bout that." she said and started to walk again.

Aussie nodded. "It's fine, It just comes out of no where some times and breaks silent. Just like this stupid collar."

Rosie smiled and nodded, "Tis true, tis true." she said and kept walking, there was nothing to do but that, to walk.

Aussie pushed in closer with his body when the wind blew making him shiver even more.

Rosie trudged on, it was quiet and actually very peaceful, she had a full stomach and company, she was the happiest she had been in weeks.

After 3 months on his own with very little food and barely living. He had someone to be with that was nice, and very fond for him. He seemed almost like she was his mother... Like she had came to in another body to help her baby Auss out. At this point. Aussie wished she was here.. He looked around at the surrounding,s trees where getting less and less around the area and the sky was soon starting to turn orange and blue. He looked towards her and said. "We should find somewhere to-" he coughed again. "somewhere to stay night is coming. and we're almost there.

Rosie nodded, "Alright, you stay here and rest, I'll find a place and come and get you." she said and lay down so that he could get off. She looked at the peak, they were avoiding it and going around the side as best they could. She blinked, the sunset was dazzling, simply dazzling.

Even knowing Aussie really didn't do anything he was literally on the brink of just falling a sleep for a long time. When she went off looking for a place he fell asleep. By the time she would get back he was asleep.

Rosie stood and trotted off, sniffing the air, there was nothing up here, nothing, they were too high up and it was winter so everything was down in the lowlands. She looked around, it was just know and rock. Lots of rock, jutting up from the snow like daggers. She found a cozy little cave that could serve as a den, it was nice inside, dry, away from the wind and the ground held a bit of old dead grass that had been abandoned, she pushed it all together and made up a little bed for Aussie, she trotted back over to find him asleep, she smiled and nudged him awake, "Alright, found a place, come on then." she said, she hoisted him onto her back and started for the cave.

Aussie groaned a bit when she nudged him awake. but he was still going to sleep.

Rosie set him down on the little warm grass bed thing, she smiled and went to lay at the entrance, it would keep the cold out and the warmth in, it was cool for her, but she had thick fur, she looked out into the night and slowly fell asleep.

While she fell asleep Aussie moved towards her to stay a bit more warmer with her heat.

Rosie looked back as she heard movement, she noticed that Aussie had moved towards her, she looked back at the stars and the moon, the beautiful moon, her mother had always to told her to look at the moon and she wouldn't be alone.

Aussie stayed far enough not to touch her. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable, but he wanted to.

Rosie sighed and lifted her head, she howled, knowing that no one was there to hear her but Aussie and the moon, and somehow, that was enough to mend her broken heart.
