"Obviously," Max chuckled softly, "I agree. Unless one were to take the other. Then the one left would be dying of loneliness,"

Rufus was still wagging his tail when he heard something rustle in the woods. "Do you hear that?" he stopped walking and turned to ask Bailey, seeing as Hiroki and Max were talking.

"No... what is it?" Bailey cocked her head. She absentmindedly swung their hands.
"I dunno," he frowned. "I won't let it get us tho," he promised.

A Sasquatch watched the group of four travel through the woods. He turned to his friend, "Should we chase them away?" he asked.

The friend shook her head yes. "That way no more of them will come anytime soon," she said, running down the hill they were standing on and towards the group.

Max's ears pressed tighter against his skull as they would normally as the Sasquatch came towards them. His eyes widened in fear.

Rufus looked up in shock, "What do you want?!" he asked the blur that was coming close to them.
Bailey shrunk back in fear from both the Sasquatch and Rufus' sudden change in emotion.

The Sasquatch stopping charging towards them and looked at the wolf. "I want you to get off of our land. We don't want any more of you to come and kill us like you did before."

Hiroki watched the scene unfold, finding himself letting out a loud yelp of some kind in shock. Though as the hairy stranger came to a pause and attempted to explain itself, he chuckled softly, not intimidated or scared, but rather accepting, a warm smile on his face.
"Sorry to disappoint y'all, but I doubt I could hurt a fly." he said somberly. "And what's all this 'bout racism an' prejudice, then? We ain't those kinda people, big fellah." the husky assured.

Max nodded slowly in agreement, "I'm an outcast myself. Why would I wanna put anyone else in the same place as me?"

Rufus was still in a bit of a protective mode, but his fur settled down, "I won't hurt you, as long as you don't try and hurt us," he told the Sasquatch.


Bailey looked up after a moment, "We actually came looking for you," she admitted, "We wanna help you, in a way, and just to see if those legends are true..."

The Sasquatch nodded, "Well then, me and my friend Echo will take you to our leader. He will talk to you then," he started to walk to get Echo. "Stay. Put." he looked back at them.

Echo sat bored as his friend went after the intruders, "Hey," he called, once he saw that Cry was coming back towards him.

"It depends on how well you cooperate," Echo hollered as he came back in to view.

Bailey pressed her ears back. "Sasquatches can really yell," she murmured to Rufus.

"It's chill," he whispered back as his fur settled back down and his face took on a look of concern, "I doubt they'll hurt us, I mean, we're no threat..."

Max yawned and sat down next to Hiroki, pulling his knees up close and resting his arms on them, "Lookit them..." he nodded towards his two best friends.
