Ooc:// Hmmm, maybe he comes late to Haley's house, assumed everyone already went into the cave, and goes looking for them. He finds the cave and another way in. He could find some of the others and try to lead them to the opening, but of course it'll be blocked up my something by the time they get to it. Or something like that.

BTW, your link to the picture doesn't work. Just thought I'd let you know so you can fix it.

Bic:// Rose nodded in agreement to Scotty as Misty asked her question. She thought about the answer for a few moments before finally saying, "Probably just as good as we are." It might not be the most comforting this she could have said, but if she was right, it meant that the others were safe though just as stuck as them.

"Hopefully they've found a out and are running after us right now," Cale suggested with a smile, turning dramatically to look down the tunnel they had just come out of. Even though he hadn't expected to see anyone, it was still a bit of a let down when he was faced with an empty space.

Rose giggled at Cale's showy performance to try to little their spirits, but she wasted no time heading down the path in front of her. This was a lot wider than the tunnel they had just walked through, and having some room to breathe felt really nice.



Haley tried to see farther into the tunnel as it started to raise. "I think it should," she said uncertainly. "It means we're getting closer to the surface, right? I don't know much about caves or land or anything, so I really say for sure." She glared over her shoulder at James, making a point to aim her gaze at his pounding shoes. "Is that really necessary?" she snapped at him, her patience for him quickly waning the longer she spent with him.

James smirked at Haley, "Sorry Haley..." he made it a point, to stomp harder, and make as much noise as he could. "These boots, they're just so heavy, and loud!" he said will causing nothing more than annoyance.

Scotty chuckled at Cale, he fixed his hat, and then continued walking down the tunnel. He shone his dim flashlight out infront of him, and walked a few paces behind Rose, losing himself in his thoughts.

"Yeah. I know as much if not less than you about caves, but hey. I'd rather go up than down." Jedi said to Haley. James was getting annoying in the back stomping his feet. Everybody gave there comments to James. Jedi knew he wouldn't take it seriously and stop. Jedi knew he would somewhat listen to him, but not all the way. 'Compromise' he thought. He turned to James, "Can you just do it a little quieter? Or just stop for 5 minutes?"

Dev snapped his phone shut in anger and let out a frustrated sigh. Haley still wasn't picking up. "I can't believe they left without me.." Dev muttered to himself as he hopped off Haley's porch and into her back yard. He shoved his hands in his pocket and shook his head, slightly angry. After awhile of walking, Dev approached the cave entrance and threw his hands in the air. "Blocked! Seriously!" He tried to move rocks out of the way but it was no use. He began pacing, thinking of how he could reach them, when he suddenly ended up flat on the ground. He looked at his shoes and noticed a hole in the ground, just big enough for him to fit in. He stuck his head inside and saw the inside of the cave. He smiled triumphantly to himself and wedged his way in. As soon as his feet hit the stone floor he began to call "Haley! Haley where are you!"

Rose turned around to tell Misty that making it out of the cave first would make her day right now, but she stopped suddently when she heard a muffle yelling. "Did you guys hear that?" she asked, wondering if she was begining to hear things now.

Cale's smirk turned down at the edges when he also heard what sounded like someone shouting. Someone who sounded very familiar. But, it couldn't be him, could it? "Yeah," he said absent-mindedly as he walked passed Misty, Scotty, and Rose and further into the tunnel. He spotted a figure in the dim sunlight. Sunlight?! Cale ran full speed at whoever it was, instantly recognizing Haley's best friend, Dev. In all the chaos, Cale had forgotten that Dev had even been invited. "Dev! Over here, dude!" Cale called as he ran towards Dev and, more importantly, the hole that led outside.

Rose tentively followed Cale until she heard him shout Dev's name. Rose smiled in excitement as she sprinted after Cale. The combination of pounding feet and shouting shook the walls, though. Rose spotted the edges of the hole falling in. "Cale! Dev! Move!" she shouted as quickly as possible as the dirt and rocks fell in an avalanche where the two boys were.

Cale tried to skid to a stop, but his momentum caused him to stumbled through the falling dirt and just missed crashing into Dev. The blonde boy covered his eyes as the earth settle, and when he looked again, he saw the wall between himself and the others. And their only way outside.



Haley groaned at James's behavior, turning around to face him. She had just taken in a deep breathe to scream at him to stop when the entire cave rumbled. Nothing feel around them but it was obvious that something had just happened somewhere. With her finger still pointed at James's chest in a stern manor, Haley stood open mouthed as the walls shivered then stood still again. "What if that was the others?" she asked with concern. No one had time to answer because a second later, the ceiling just behind James collapsed, blocking their path to the blocked entrance and the others. Haley felt her temper flare up and James just happened to be the closest person. "Now tell me how in God's name are we supposed to met back there in an hour?!" she shrieked at him.

"C'mon Haley." Jedi said trying to pull her away from James. He was holding her shoulders from behind. "It wasn't his fault this time. I'm sure there is another way, but we have to keep moving." He tried pulling her by the arm to keep going up the cave. "It didn't sound like the rumbling was far, so let's go find it."

Scotty rushed over to Rose, blinking up at the wall of rubble. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly. Blinking as the dust settled.

James yelped, and staggered away from the collapsed area. Then he glanced at Hayly who yelled at him. James chuckled and turned to her with a broad smirk. "Relax Hay-bail, I'm sure we can meet them somewhere else if we hafta'." James replied, watching Jedi pull her away.

Ooc:// Solo - Dev and Cale are separated from the others now. Sorry if I didn't make that more clear in my previous post.

Dev's face broke into a slight grin as he heard voices echoing through the caves. He heard Haley's voice, then Cale's, and all of a sudden there was Cale, sprinting towards him. "Thanks for leaving without me!" Dev shouted out just as Cale almost ran into him. "Woah whats your deal?" he asked, confused, that's when he heard the rumbling. Next thing Dev knew, the light became dark, and he couldn't hear anything except for his own panting. "Cale? Cale!" he said almost frantically. "Whats going on?"

Haley struggled against Jedi's hold on her half-heartedly, hearing his words and knowing he was right. If something fell nearby, that mean that others might be close. Even if they were going to be stuck in here forever, it would be best if they were at least all together again. Why had they agreed to separate in the first place? Haley throw a glare that could kill at James when he spoke, wanting to say something or blame him for this, but not being able to find the words. "Fine," she said tearsly, shaking off Jedi and marching up the path, her hands balled into fists at her sides and turning her knuckles white. She would feel so much better if she could just slap that smirk from James's face, but now was definately not the time for that fight.



Rose had skidded to a stop soon enough to avoid the tumbling rocks, but she stood completely still as she stared at the rubble in disbelieve. She snapped out of her trance as Scotty ran up to her. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said, barely glancing at him as she couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from the dirt pile. She took a step forward and placed a hand on the thick wall of rocks, straning her ears to hear some sort of sound from the other side, but it was hopeless. She sighed in defeat and turned away from the pile, walking towards Misty and asking her, "Are you alright?"



Cale panted heavily, his heart still racing from his sprint. He turned to Dev with a frown, saying, "The walls in here are apparantly quite fragile and fall down without warning." Despite being separated from everyone except Dev, Cale still managed to grin at his friend. Even though he and Dev weren't as close as Dev and Haley, they were still good friends. He gripped Dev on the shoulder in greeting and said, "Glad you could join the party, man." Completely exhausted emotionally and physically, Cale chuckled a small laugh, refusing to be pessimistic even in this dire situation.

Dev narrowed his eyes slightly and stared at Cale, a small half smile crept up on his lips. "Party?" he let out a small chuckle "only you Cale. Only you could possibly make light of a situation like this," Dev said and gently punched his friend on the shoulder. He glanced around the area that they were in, narrowing his eyes and thinking deeply. "No how are we gonna get out of here?" he asked and glanced at Cale. "Come on genius, what's the plan!"

Misty nodded at Rose, "That was a little scary..." she frowned, "I hope Cale and Dev are alright," she looked at the fallen rocks with Rose. "What direction do we go in now?" she asked.

Rufus looked at Bailey with concern written all over his face. He wrapped his free arm around her shoulders, "What's wrong? Besides the cave..." he looked at Bailey again.

Bailey sighed, "Nothing besides that," she looked at Rufus, "I'm so scared..." she kept walking "I know we'll make it out of here though! We have to!"

Rufus smiled at Bailey, "Hey Haley, what route do you suggest we take now?" he asked. He didn't mean to upset Haley, you could hear it in his voice, he was genuinely curious.

Haley came to a halt in her angry storming when Rufus asked her his question. Honestly, she had no idea where she was going or where they should go. "I have no idea," she admitted, turning around to face everyone. "But right now, we only have one way to go, so I guess we keep walking until there's another split in the path. Hopefully we'll find the others on the way as well," she said.



Rose nodded at Misty. "I hope so too," she muttered, glancing over her shoulder at the rock pile again. Why did this keep happening? At this rate, every single one of them would be separated from each other and they'd be wondering this maze for the rest of their lives. She sighed before answering Misty's question. "Well, I guess we have to turn around and go back to that split in the path. Maybe we should try to follow the others," she suggested, looking between Misty and Scotty for thier input.



Cale shrugged at Dev's disbelief at his postive attitude, laughing even more as Dev gave him a playful punch. Cale rubbed the back of his neck, a nervous habit when he didn't know what to say, when Dev asked the question Cale had been pondering himself since the first wall collapsed. "Well, the plan so far as been splitting up and wondering this cave until somone finds another way out. As you can see, that plan hasn't been working out too well lately."

"Lead the way, hay-bail!" James continued. Why he enjoyed aggitating Hayley further, he may never know. Maybe it's because he blamed her for what happened between him and Rose, or maybe he just though it was fun.

Scotty nodded in agreement to rose, "Sure, that sounds like our only option."
