Kat shoved the bag in his hands, she was always mad wen he couldn't come.
"It's fine." She didn't mean it. "I don't care." She did care. Kat angrily went to the kitchen and starred at the fridge. She located a doctor pepper and gulped the sugery liquide down. Kat crunched the can and tossed it in the recycle.

"Kaaaaaat." Alfred whined, knowing how mad she got. Arthur ducked out of the room, sensing the tension.
"Something..came..up." He tried to explain.

"I just don't like it when people ditch, you know that." She said, "What came up?" She asked, her tone softer now.

Alfred knew he must've looked guilty now, he could feel it. He glanced in the living room where Arthur sat on the couch, staring at the TV, which was playing the weather softly.
"I- uh..did..something.." He admitted quietly.

KAt sat up, interested now. When Alfred was guilty, he looked like a puppy.A sad, lost, puppy who got caught while misbehaving.
"What did you do?" She said, her voice slightly sharper, like she was accusing him all ready.

"Can we go in my room and talk about it?" Alfred asked, not waiting for an answer, just grabbing Kat's hand and taking her upstairs. Once he shut his door behind them, he sighed.
"I, uhm, kinda kissed Iggy."

Kat’s teeth grinded into her cheek as Alfred explained what he’d done. She felt blood swell into her mouth and she swallowed it with unease. She wanted to do so much, hit Alfred, scream at Arthur, give them the finger and stomp away. On the top of the list was giving Arthur the finger. Who did he think he was?! Kat knew Alfred for years and Arthur only knew him for days! That wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair! Nothing was ever fair! Kat clenched her hands into tight fists and bit back an urge to claw her hair out.
“Oh…How…Interesting…” She managed through clenched teeth.

"no! no please dont get mad it was an accident i just kinda saw him and he looked really cute and i..i.." Alfred ran out of words to say before tears began trickling down his face. He crashed into Kat in a tight hug.
"sorrysorrysorrysorry" He whimpered.

Kat huffed, trying to sort out if she was angry with him, or just plane sad.
"Let go of me Alfred." Kat said stubbornly. "It's not like I like you. You can date whomever you want. I'm just...Still upset about the McDonalds thing." She lyed smoothly.

"Noo." Alfred whined, hugging her tightly. "And shut up i know you like me. Everyone likes the hero." He said quieter, his bottom lip quivering.

"God, just stop okay? I don't like you, alright? You'r conceeded and clueless!" and everything I want and more...She want to add that so badly, she wanted to hug him back. But Kat was hurt.
"Just...Leave me alone, okay? I don't like you, I never liked you. And if it seemed like a did, well I'm sorry for leading you on! Have fun with Arthur, he deserves someone as stupid and clueless as you." Kat snapped, the insults seeping off of her tongue and whipping him harder than she expected. She winced at her own tone, but then pulled away from Alfred, went downstairs and slammed the door.

Alfred sank down onto his knees.
"B-But..I thought we were best friends.." He muttered, before Arthur peeked through the door.
"Hey, Alfred? Is, everything..okay?" The brit questioned, before kneeling down infront of ALfred. "Oh, goodness, why are you crying? I mean she just stormed out i didn't think you-" He began, before Alfred kissed him again.
"Please dont leave me too.."

Kat's hands shook frantically. She started walking back to her and Alfred's spot. She was so hurt. The only way she communicate how hurt she was, was by pushing people away. Like she'd pushed Alfred away and shut him out. She shut everyone out,and now she had no one. Kat limped to the car and burried herself under the convers, but she didn't cry. She couldn't force the tears out.

Arthur whimpered and pulled away, before chuckling and holding him.
"Okay, I wont but..you've got to warn me, before you do that." He huffed. Alfred nodded and cleaned himself up, before putting on his regular 'hero' face.
"Okay, we should go find Kat and help her." Arthur stared at him for a moment before looking down at himself. He wore a thin white t-shirt and plaid pants.
"YOu can go, i need to dress." And with that, Alfred jogged out of the house to their spot, desperate to talk to Kat.

By now Kat had gotten out of the car and had started climbing the huge tree that it was parked next too. She kept climbing highr and higher, trying to escape. She tried to get away from the pain, but it was there and it was real.
