Buck nodded to the dog door. Anyway it was almost time for the little party Nathaniel wanted to do. Buck licked his humans hand and walked over to the door with Dingo behind him.

"You're on!" Dingo said, jumping clear over his fence, putting him a few feet ahead of Buck. They raced their way to the boiler room, Dingo ending up being the winner. Mackenzie sat by the fire, sleeping quietly.

Buck huffed, "Well you won this time, but I know I'll when next time," he said smiling. They entered the boiler room while dogs roamed around happily. Nathaniel and Lucas were over talking to some dogs, while Buck followed his friend over to Mackenzie.

Mackenzie shrugged weakly.
"Been better." She said, looking at her small paws. Dingo sighed.
"Still can't get Lucas to focus on someone other than Lucy?" He guessed.

"Great! Hey want to hang with us three for a little bit," Buck asked with a wink toward Mackie.
"Ya sure," he said with a smile and then glanced at Mackie with a poliet smile.
