Safari hesitated. He knew he had to let her do this alone, but he was scared to let her go on her own. He looked to Kefir and Adia standing by. They nodded.
"Alright." Safari said. "I promise."

Uzuri also smiled and saw her daughter ran for Safari and nuzzled him she then turned around and nuzzled Kefir and the Kaliona she then smiled and took off towards the edge and saw a herd of antelope she then turned her head around to look at her parents and her friends Kaliona and Kefir.

Safari smiled at his daughter and then watched her go.
"Aren't you going to do something?" Kefir asked him
"No." Safari said. "She's a very talented hunter and she'll do well on her own. Anyway, I promised."

Adia crouched low in the tall savannah brown grass looking for a limping antelope that would be easier for her to catch. Adia soon waited for it to turn around and as it did she ran towards the herd causing them to run but the limping couldn't keep up this was her chance she leaped in the air and landed squarely on it back and went for it's neck for a death grip she waited for it to stop struggling and felt some blood reach her mouth she knew it was dead she began dragging it towards Pride Rock. 'Father is going to be so proud of me.' She thought.

Kefir strained his eyes. The sun had begun to set and Adia still wasn't back. He started to feel worried for her. He had been trying to catch a sight of her or atleast hear her pawsteps, but he couldn't hear a thing. Safari had told him that it would atleast nightfall before Adia returned, but Kefir couldn't help worrying.

Adia so Pride Rock coming into view it was already almost nightfall. She purred silently as she saw Kefir waiting for her she then made it towards the beginning of Pride ROck.

Kefir heaved a sigh of relief and ran down to Adia. He looked at the prey she was dragging in.
"Impressive." he said.

Adia blushed and nuzzled Kefir. She had no idea that she was falling head or heals for the young male. "Thankyou.'' ''Do you think you could help me drag it up to pride rock?'' Adia asked and grabbed it by it's neck.

"Sure." he said. He grabbed its legs and began hauling it in. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Safari standing on the summit, looking at them both. Safari's whiskers were twitching with amusement. Kefir knew that his close friendship with Adia was starting to attract attention from the other lionesses.

Adia felt her father's stare glaring inside her fur but she didn't dare to turn around because of what he might say she felt a little blush on her cheek fur but was glad that Kefir or the others didn't see it when they reached at the top of the Pride Rock and inside the den she put down her antelope kill with the other kills that were already there and it was piling up fast with the lionesses hunting the pride would be well fed by nightfall.

Kefir turned around and waited for his sister and Adia's brother Hadi to return from their hunting trip. In the meantime, he felt Safari looking at him. He spun around and saw Safari with a slightly worried look on his face. Hadi was his son, and had left before Adia's first hunt ceremony and still hadn't returned.

Adia nuzzled under her father. "What's the matter daddy?'' Adia asked with a worried look on her face.

"Where is your brother?" he asked. "He should be back by now."

"I don't know should we go and look for him?'' Adia asked.

"Maybe." Safari frowned, hoping they didn't have to go and Hadi would return.
