...oops. Sorry, Dover! I hate it when I do that. Thanks, Kali! I'll jump in after I've. Essayed her to see if it's okay.

Water dripped down through a drainpipe and the stream burst, splashing steadily, on an already wet and grumpy Huck, the German Shepherd pup. he shook his head, large brown pointed ears whipping back and forth, only to be further soaked in the rain. "Aw, come on!" he complained, glaring sideways up at the water-streaked sky. He hadn't been able to sleep through the storm, so he had gotten up to walk all his restlessness off. This didn't help him sleep, only drenched him and added to his misery. such was the life of a street dog.

Were those paw steps he heard splashing throughout the puddles in the streets?

(GRRRRRRRR!)

Huck nodded. "I'm fine. Sorry 'bout your alley." gloomily resigned to find some other place dry to spend the night, he wondered if his little friend Arabella would let him use her doghouse. Was that a legitimate request for a street dog without earning a wimpy reputation? At the moment the German shepherd didn't care. He wanted some place dry to get some sleep, for the love of Tony's Spaghetti! Huck stood up and walked out from under the crate, turning towards the alley entrance/exit to leave. Most older street dog packs didn't like pups like him, or any other street dog, in on their turf.
