Butch tilted his head slighty and stopped, "Whait, what? Why not?"

When Jade finally stopped laughing she glanced over and seen Misty and Onyx talking. She silently motioned Lime over so she could whisper something to him, "I think they're getting along!"

Misty smiled at him then look off at Neon and Butch and gazed silently, "I think my son has fallen for your daughter." She chuckled slightly.

Neons hrugged "i do not know" She looked away

Lime looked over Jade's shoulder "i see this"

Onyx smiled "No your son is falling for my daughter" he said reapeating her words from earliar

He instantly felt bad because of how sad she looked, quickly walked over to her side and licked her cheek. He then nuzzled her and smiled, "Im sorry. But Im sure that he wont be like that forever. I mean, Its not your fault."

Jade grinned, feeling like because of her and Lime meeting in the first place, they had accomplished something big. And hopefully this would turn out good.

Misty chuckled again. Either way she knew how this was going to turn out. Soon she was going to be seeing alot more of Onyx and his family, which started to look pretty good for her.

Neon looked up at Butch and smiled licking him "You can always make things seem better"

Lime smiled hopefully now his sister would be happy.

Onyx heard a car and perked his ears up. His owners had returned home.

Jenna got out and smiled "Neon "She whistled

Neon heard a whistle and licked Lime "My master" She ran back

her owner Maria got out of the car "NEON!' She cried burrying her face in her dogs fur

Onyx sat by Misty and watched.

Just as he was about to tell her how he felt, Neon's owner came back and approached them. He stood his ground and watched as the owner cuddled Neon and cried.

When the people came back to the house, Jade quickly lowered her ears. She hated meeting new people, and humans made her more timid than anything else. She quickly moved herself behind Lime.

Misty felt a tingle up her spine as Onyx sat next to her. She quickly overlooked it as the scene with Neon and her owner started to play out infront of her.

Jenna smiled at her sister "Neon girl guess what Maria just has the flu. She will be fine. But she should go inside"

Maria nodded gave Neon one last hug and walked into the house.

Neon smiled and ran back to Butch "Maria is going to be okay' She said smiling.

Lime looked behind him "they wont hurt you"

Onyx smiled at his daughter's happiness

Butch grinned at Neon's happiness. What a relief to know that she wasnt going to have to go through another death in her small family. He sat down then took in a breath of air, "Um Neon I need to tell you something."

Jade sighed and stayed behind Lime until all of the humans were inside the house, "Im sorry. I just dont really like to meet new people." She looked away.

Misty wagged her tail and grinned at how overjoyed they all were because her owner wasnt seriously ill. She absolutely loved it.

Butch gave her a nervous look as he glanced around and mumbled, "Well... uhh..... you see....I really like you, so much to even say, I love you..."

Jade glanced around and kept her head turned from him, "I dont know... I just am afraid that they are going to judge me." She sighed slightly. She was refering to the fact she had mixed breeds in her.

Misty grinned at Onyx. That was a sign of a true father that she had missed out on.

Neon looked at him in shock "I love you to Butch" She said smiling

Lime looked at her"Im a mixed breed to Jade. My dad's a wolfdog"

Butch's eyes gleamed with happyness when he heard her say those words. She loved him too. He wagged his tail furiously and smiled. She loved him too. He couldnt stop thinking that same sentence.

She glanced over at Onyx, "I know that, but some humans are less accepting than others. And even more-so for dogs around here.

Misty stood and walked toward her house. She was going to spend the rest of the day inside, resting up for when her owner took her out hunting tomorrow. When she hit the top of the porch, she looked back and Onyx and smiled, "It was nice to meet you and your children. I hope we can talk again soon."

Neon smiled. She knew she made him very happy. "Yes Butch your an amazing guy"

Lime looked at her "my masters are not like other humans" He said nuzzling her

Onyx smiled and walked back to his porch thinking the exact same thing.

Butch gazed at Neon. His tail stopped wagging, and his smile grew soft. Finally, he nuzzled her then licked her ne her cheek, "Your an amazing girl. I honestly hope well be together, forever.

She was suprised at his nuzzled, but didnt turn away. She grew somewhat submissive, nuzzling him back, then smiling up at him, "I guess if you say so...."

Misty bowed a slight goodbye then left into her house, where she got a drink then walked up the stairs to the master bedroom, and fell asleep.

Neon smiled "Oh really well if you want that you have to ask me" She said smiling.

--"Neon Come on girl time to come in" A voice called from the house.

Neon smiled and nuzzled him "See ya later' She said running into the house.

Lime smiled and licked her cheek "i better go. My master wont sleep unless im on his bed. See you tomorrow" He said and walked after his sister

Butch smiled as she walked away. He couldnt have thought of a better way to end his day. As he was walking toward his house, the Johnsons came back, heavily in debate about something, and let him in the house.

She gave him another suprised look then blushed heavily, "Yeah... see you tomorrow." She followed Butch and the Johnsons inside.
