Biyomon flew up. "Violin Attack!" she called, doing a high pitched cherping, causing the Gizamon to hold their ears in pain, stunning them.
"Let's finish them now!" called Betamon. "Water Tower!" he called, summoning up a large surge of water under the Gizamon and launching them into the air. "Beta Cutter!" he called, cutting several with his head fin and defeating them, turning them back into Digi-Eggs.

Three Gizamon were left after Betamon's awesome attack and Gabumon yelled; "Blue Blaster!!" Firing blue flames at the remaining three Gizamon - turning them into Digi-eggs which disappeared into the sky like the others.
"We got them!" Gabumon said, running over to William.

Biyomon landed next to Akari. "Thanks for helping me Digivolve, Akari," she said, smiling.
Akari smiled. "You're welcome...but how did I help?"
Betamon jumpped over to Eiji. "Well your desire to help us activated your Digivices," he explained, smiling.
"Digivice?" asked Eiji, pulling his out. "This thing?" he asked, looking it over.

Lia looked at her and asked, "What is Digimon short for?"
"Digimon! Digital Monsters!" Gabumon exclaimed.

"By the way, what happened to those Gizamon that you guys defeated?" asked Akari, noticing they'd turned into eggs and floated off."Oh, you see, Digimon are kind of immortal," explained Biyomon. "When we die, we just turn back into a Digi-Egg and start life over.""But we lose our memories of our previous lives," said Betamon. "So we don't like to do it anyway. But doing it to Devidramon's minions gives them a second chance, kind of.""Ok...so let's try not to let you die...what's your name now?" asked Eiji."I'm Betamon now!" explained Betamon, smiling wide."And I digivolved from Pinamon to Biyomon, my personality hasn't changed though," said Biyomon, smiling.

"Well...we actually don't know," said Biyomon, rubbing her head. "We weren't the ones that brought you here though, the ones who put us on this island and made the Digivices would though."
"Someone put you here?" asked Eiji.
Betamon nodded. "Yeah, we all hatched here together with the Digivices and guarded them till this morning, knowing that you'd come to be our partners one day," he explained. "So you're like the chosen ones. Let's see...so maybe, Digidestined is what you are?"
Eiji nodded. "Well I know one thing," he said, Biyomon putting some herbs on his hand to help him heal from punching Depthmon. "I hate bullies and this Devidramon sure sounds like one to me," he said. "And since we don't know how to get back to earth, I say we help these guys kick his tail into next week."
"Biyomon is the best thing to happen to me in years," said Akari, thinking. "My mom won't even care I'm missing, she hasn't even cared about herself since dad died. Biyomon cares about me, I'm not going to just forget about her, I'm going to help her out."

I wonder who it was that brought us all here... Lia thought. Turning to her group of friends, she scooped up Gatomon and the cat-like Digimon purred.
"Lia-Lia, you'll help us get rid of Devidramon... wont you?" Gatomon looked up at her with pleading eyes.
William and Gabumon looked at Lia, wondering what her decision would be. She seemed the type to go home instead of help these creatures, but something told him that something was holding her back.
"Of course I'll help you." She responded.
"Alright. Now that's settled. What is the plan?" William asked the others.

"I'd suggest taking cover, considering Depthmon sounded like he'll be coming back, with more force next time," said Akari.
Biyomon nodded. "While he's an aquatic digimon, he's not afraid to move across the ground and the area around the ocean is his domain. Further inland belongs to Devidramon's stronger generals, so we're safer staying in Depthmon's turf until we can beat him."
"Alright, so stay around here, train, and then when we're strong enough, we beat down Depthmon and head inland, sound good?" asked Eiji.

"Now, where can we go to be safe in the meantime?" asked Eiji, thinking.
"What about where we live?" asked Betamon, loking to the others. "We've been safe there all this time after all."
Biyomon nodded. "Yeah, that works," she said, leading the way to an enclosed grassy area, trees completely covering it so it couldn't be seen from the air. "Here we are," she said. "We hatched here, and we've been here ever sense."
Betamon looked at his old nest-like bed. "We'll need to make our beds bigger..."

Lia, still carrying Gatomon, followed the others into the forest. Biyomon lead them to an enclosed area consisting of trees that closed it of from the rest of the island. Only a gab in between the trees gave a way into and from the area.
Jumping from Lia's arms, Gatomon lead her over to a small nest-like bed. "This is where I sleep, Lia-Lia! Once I make it bigger and more comfortable, you can stay here too!" She said with her childish voice.
Gabumon lead William over to his own bed. "Once it is bigger you can stay here too. Why don't you and your friends stay here while me, Biyomon, Gatomon, and Betamon go get more bedding? He suggested.

"But what about Depthmon finding you?" asked Akari, concerned.
"Don't worry, we've been dodging them since they got here," said Biyomon. "That was the only time he's caught us in the open really, we're careful. Have to be when you're tiny like we were."
Betamon nodded. "Yeah, we're smart, don't worry!" he said, jumping around.
"Alright, but we need food too," said Eiji.
Biyomon got some fruit out of the corner of the room and brought it to the group. "We keep some here so we don't have to leave unless we need to."

Lia looked at the pile of fruit that Biyomon had brought to them. It didn't look like any fruit she had seen before, but she decided that when she was hungry enough, she would try it.
William sat on the ground, rubbing his arms. "It sure is cold..." He muttered.
"The temperature can't be any less then seventy degrees.(Fahrenheit)" Lia said worriedly. "Does your head still hurt?"

"It might simply be shock at all that's happened," said Akari. "Or perhaps his body temputure dropped laying out there with the water washing up at him, either way, try to warm him up quickly."
Eiji looked at the food and decided to try some after the Digimon went to gather bedding. "This is pretty good," he said. "Our partners are pretty cool, aren't they?" he asked, trying to lighten the mood. "They're nice too, inviting us into their place and all.
