"We'll talk about that after I have all the facts," said Jarrett. "I don't charge the same price for every case, as some of my employers can't afford the standerd rate," he continued. "So, tell me everything, ok?"

"Meldox, you should be the one to tell him," said Beth. "You're the oldest and know more about it than I do."

"The other two gangs are the ones who killed our brother and mother," said Beth, sadly.

Jarrett was taken offguard and appaled. "I had no idea it was this bad," he said. "The rich preying on those who barely have the money to support themselves, what terrible people..." he said. "Do you have any witnesses to these murders?"

"I saw my mother die," said Beth, bitter. "I was in that closet right over there after someone lit the house on fire. While I was in there...I saw them kill her...the Ballas, Baron their leader was there," she said, tears in her eyes. She decided it'd be best to let Glenn be the one to speak up about their younger brother's death, he'd witnessed it after all and he should decide if he wants the responsibility of being the witness to it.

Beth went over and nuzzled her brother, almost crying herself as she tried to comfort him.

Jarrett looked enraged. "They killed a child?" he asked softly, getting a nod from Beth. "Unforgivable...those monsters!" he continued, horrified. "Killing an adult is bad enough, but killing an innocent little child is just unforgivable...I don't blame you for fleeing, but I'll never forgive the Ballas for that," he said, seeming as if it had become personal all of a sudden. "No charge, I'm doing this for Am...I mean Timmy," he said, getting caught up and starting to mention another name before catching himself. "Sorry...I get a little worked up...I have issues with people killing children," he said, saddened. "I'm not going to charge you at all, justice needs to be served."

Beth wondered whose name Jarrett had started to say, but dropped it. "But there are corrupt cops that are helpping keep them out of prison."

"Then we'll take them down first," said Jarrett, seriously. Something in his own past made him deeply sympathize with the plight of the Grove Street Family, and he clearly wanted to avenge the horrors done to them at any cost. "And this Los Vagos, what have they done?"

Jarrett nodded, taking notes. "Alright, well I'll help you," he said. "First things first, we need to sting the corrupt cops," he said. "If we can find out where they're meeting, we can set up a sting and have them arrested, that's the first thing," he explained. "OR at least how they contact them."

"I've seen cops show up to some of their crimes and just turn a blind eye to them, is that enough?" asked Beth.

"Letting a known criminal off the hook can at least get an investigation started," said Jarrett. "It's also help if we went public with the corruption in the police, I know some ways to do it and keep your names annoymious, but first we need to get proof, like pictures and such."

"That's a good idea," said Jarrett. "...Is there anything else I can do to help you?" he asked, sympathatic to what they've been through. "To be honest, I don't do this for money, I do it because I enjoy helping people. I've got plenty of money, I can do plenty if you need it...please, if there's anything at all, just ask," he said, for some reason having a personal connection to their own plight.

"Well there is one thing...you don't have to..." said Beth. "But our friend Mammoth here is in need of surgery on his knees, we were saving up money for it, but it burned in the fire..." she said, too humble to ask for something for herself but wanting to help Mammoth if at all possible.

Jarrett nodded to Meldox, then heard Beth. He looked to Mammoth. "IS that true?"

"Well yeah...you don't need to do nothing though," said MAmmoth, but unable to help cringing at the pain in his knees. "I've got gigantism and it's really taking it's tole on my legs..."

"I'll pay for it," said Jarrett, without hesitation. "Consider it a sign of good will," he continued. "I know, you were expecting to be paying me for this, but the fact is...well, let's just say your story touched my heart and leave it there, ok?"

"Alright, but now, let's see if we can't secure the territory a little bit better, shall we?" asked Jarrett, getting up and walking around the house, examining it. "Are all the houses around here simular to this one?"
