The pups yipped and lead the Omega to a good hill. "How's this, Mr. Humphrey?" asked the little female pup.

Blaze nodded. "Ironic we'll give him what's coming to him while he's doing the job he's supposed to, goof off."

"I know Tony won't admit it, but he appreciates it too," said Winston. "I know his back is really hurtting him."

"I know mom," said Kate, smiling. "I'm just saying he's still afraid of you."

Garth smiled, but looked to Lilly. "Lilly, ladies first," he said politely.

"How that idiot managed to get Kate back here in one piece I'll never know," said Blaze. "Does he ever have a plan?"

"Let's go!" called the little female, who seemed to lead the other pups, smiling brightly.

Gartha smiled, stepping aside to let her eat.

"I know mom," said Kate. "You know mom...that adventure wasn't all bad when I look back," she said. "If the humans hadn't taken me and him to Idaho, me and Garth would be married and we'd both be unhappy. I know Garth and me wouldn't be good mates, so does he," she explained. "This way, the packs are united, and we're both happy with the ones we love. I'm sorry it worried you, but at least everything turned out good you know?"

At the bottom, they were all launched off and landed in a dog pile on top of Humphrey. "That was fun Mr. Humphrey!" called the little female.

"Agreed," said Blaze. "But that's what makes it hard to mess with him, he's TOO lucky," he said. "He always ends up coming out smelling like a rose in the end, why is that mangy Omega so dang lucky?!"

Kate chuckled. "Thanks mom," she said, going to eat.

Winston looked to Tony. "Hey Tony, how are you doing?" he asked, he and Tony had been friends for a long time, he was worried for him as well. That back of his worried everyone, a lot of them were afriad it could get worse and he'd be paralyzed.

"You're really nice Mr.Humphrey," said the girl, following with the other pups. "My name is Aurora by the way."

"And Lilly must be too," said Blaze, snarling. "They'll get theirs."

"Pretty good, kind of enjoying retirement," said Winston, changing the subject along with him. "The two packs are doing pretty good merged under our kids," he admitted. "You enjoying retirement?"

"You're really funny too," said Aurora with a giggle. "So, how d we do this?"

"Or Humphrey ether," said Blaze, snarling. "Seriously, I hate it when people give him so much attention."

Kate looked to her sister as she finished eating. "So, Lilly, how are things with Garth?" she asked. "I've heard you two are a great couple."

"I'd like to think so," said Winston. "I know we've both made some mistakes," he said. "But in the long run, I think we did well," he said. "...Garth's a nice boy, I'm sorry this didn't work out how we planned...but I think it's honestly better this way," he explained. "Kate and Garth may seem alike, but I think that's the problem, they're too alike, they have simular strength weaknesses. Lilly and Humphrey have different strengths and weaknesses than their mates, they balence and mesh well."

"Ok," said Aurora, leading her fellows onto the 'sled'. "How do we steer it?"

Kate nodded. "He's great, he's so nice, and funny," she said, smiling. "Whenever I'm down, he does something funny to cheer me up," she explained. "Like you used to do with that turtle thing."

Blaze nodded. "Yeah, that's their role, they should stick to it," he said bitterly. "However, I will say that Garth's howling is much better than before, I will say that."

"Agreed," said Winston. "I still can't believe it though...it seems like just yesterday Lilly and Kate were pups...now they're leading the pack and have mates...amazing how things change, huh?"

Aurora nodded. "Ok, we try," she said, the pups taking off down the hill.

"Same here," said Blaze. "Let's go now, before the pups come back."

Kate smiled. "You might be a bit shy, Lilly, but you're a great girl, that's something you and Humphrey are good at, cheering people up," she said. "I'm proud to have you for a sister."

Winston blinked. "You've never really mentioned her before...he doesn't seem to know her very much ether. Has he ever seen her?"
